This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Load of rubbish!!
Let's be realistic.
I'll tell you why so serious
This is so bad. The cut that the BBFC made is so painfully obvious. The whole film is painful to watch. Not erotic at all. Pointless story that is stupid. The twist at the end makes no sense. It is just a bad copy of Basic Instinct (1992) which wasn't that amazing in the first place. Save your time and don't watch this. The only bit that held my attention was pre-credit introduction which sadly only lasted fifty seconds. That means that I enjoyed less than 1% of the film (I actually did the maths which entertained me more than the actual film).
You don't watch a movie like Sexual Predator for the plot which is a good thing because the plot is ludicrously stupid. You watch such a movie to see an attractive woman, in this case Angie Everhart, take off her clothes. Everhart of course looks fabulous so in that respect Sexual Predator has delivered on its promise. Unfortunately it delivers absolutely nothing else. The story is just absurdly terrible, stupidity piled upon stupidity, all capped off in the end with as stunningly stupid a conclusion as you could imagine. The acting in the movie is uniformly atrocious. Everhart turns in by far the best performance which tells you all you need to know. There is a reason after all she's starring in straight-to-video trashy B-movies, she's a lousy actress. But she's a heck of a lot better than Richard Grieco, her co-star in this film. He's simply wretched. And some of the supporting players, Kevin Fry most notably, are so bad you can't help but laugh at their painful line readings. This is a movie which starts out badly and almost impossibly keeps getting worse and worse. You know it's going to be trashy but some trashy movies at least have a little redeeming value. No such luck with this one. It's trashy and it's terrible, not a good combination there. You get the look at Everhart that you came for. But it would take a lot more than a few minutes of topless Angie to save this total turkey of a movie.
Well, as far as I'm concerned this is certainly a "B" movie. I enjoy a good B movie and this would be one of them. It's a cross between "Never Talk to Strangers" and "9 1/2 Weeks." I really find Angie Everhart quite pretty and although I've never been nuts on Richard Grieco, I did notice one thing . . . the two of them together emitted an intense chemistry just like that of the Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke combo. She is his probation officer after he was found guilty for manslaughter by killing her best friend via sexual asphyxiation. The curiosity about him gets the best of her and she finds herself beginning to slip outside the professional boundaries of her job. This causes her to tell him on the phone that she will no longer see him outside of the office.Of course - what happens? She works late that night . . . alone . . .in the dark and then he comes prowling into the office, with a straight edge razor in hand (he collected them), he uses the back of the razor to trace the outline of her face and neck while standing behind her, I tell you, I felt her fear and excitement and just the taboo of it all and I guarantee you, the chemistry worked and was worth seeing despite the movie being a B, despite the secondhand actors and weak plot - the chemistry and the touching of the taboo sexual practices was actually quite refreshing. This is what I would term, "Very Good" bad TV.
This movie is a great thriller with many twists and turns. A great performance by all the actors and actresses. I really believed that I was in the movie's scenes. This is racy and inventivle new movie that deserves some praise instead of bad reviews. I think anybody wanting something hot and new should view this movie. It stars Angie Everhart and Richard Grieco.
