Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Blistering performances.
Who thought it would be a good idea to retire Lightning McQueen after receiving a barrage of age-related abuse from the new 'rookies'? Great message! In the previous film we saw Mator get all kinds of power-ups to make him go faster but in this film they can't make McQueen go 10mph+ faster with a hi-tech training facility.None of it made any sense and just ruined what could have been a great film. The first half was all headed in the right direction and I was expecting a Rocky 4 style old-school vs new-school battle with McQueen coming out top.But no. Much better to disappoint he kids.
A great family movie to watch on a Saturday morning, but it is predictable at times and most adults could get board
The "Cars" trilogy is probably my least favorite part of Pixar's filmography and still, I hold it at a well respected place. Pixar rarely misses and even their mediocre animated features are still above the rest that are out there. "Cars 3" is brought something better than its predecessor and that's heart. Heart of a dying old race car's career that can be interpreted as the fading career of an acting generation. A generation that lived in better times, a generation that is not angered towards their fellow people for living their own life and not offending anyone."Cars 3" brings Lightning McQueen to the final miles of his award winning career as he tries to fend off a new hi-tech generation of race cars with the help of his new trainer. It's a story of old and new, combining both modern techniques and classic training endurance. Apart from Lightning McQueen, most of the beloved characters from the other films do not make appearances or if they do, it would just be a small cameo role. It's not Pixar's finest attempt considering most of their resources and attention were devoted into the production of "Coco", "Cars 3" is a nice finish touch a kid-friendly trilogy.
I'm disgusted at the reviews this was the best of the cars series and the fact that most people think this is worse than card 2 what on Earth are you on this is just mental and the reason they keep on making them is because it makes them a ridiculous amount of money.
