Simply Perfect
I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
My rating is based on the content of this movie which caters to "ITS AUDIENCE" perfectly. Movie goers who enjoy animation quality over the depth and sincerity of the story may find animation lacking to an extent though it is commendable to produce such eye soothing visuals with lesser than 2 percent of the budget as compared to a Hollywood flick. Animation is in nascent state in India hence this venture should be regarded as a bold yet sincere step and owing to the fact that this is based on actual history associated with the sentiments of a religious minority the pains taken to avoid any controversy is commendable as well. (Mild spoiler ahead) Due to important and wise restrictions on animating The Masters (The gurus) movie buffs complain about the gurus being depicted in still imagery but then again it is commendable that movie makers took care of that fact yet making the movie look beautiful. The movie made suitable for all audience does not show blood gore and does not give audience much to ponder upon the technicality of warfare making it interesting and understandable for younger generation. Though movie is taken to be associated with religion but It actually is based on the unbreakable human spirit and a tribute to probably the firsts to die for right to speech, expression and right to live with dignity and on own terms. The message is correct, motivating and true and beyond the boundaries of religion, race or country. A must for parents who like their children watching motivational cinema. Not to forget that this movie is true to events and movie watchers should not restrict themselves to this movie but should research on the history associated with characters of this story. Too much for world to learn from this part of the world.
It is a beautiful adaptation of the sakhis (stories) we heard from our elders, so well made. There was nobody who came out of the movie hall without tears in their eyes. Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji te ohna de Sahibzaade. The best part of the film is, it's like a beautiful tale of how good prevails over evil. It did not propagate any religion neither put down any religion. Such great is our history and salute to the folks who took the initiative of making it into a film. This is just the beginning, looking forward to many many more such films and I am sure all Sikh sangat across the globe is with you for all such initiatives.
This was an amazing movie, it was very well done and very accurate. It is based on a true story about the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, so people can now have the freedom they do today. It is movie about Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his four sons, who choose death rather than submitting to another religion. This movie made me cry and made me have a newfound respect for my religion. It is a movie about the the chote sahibzaade, who were only 6 and 9, who rather choose death than convert to Islam because they believed no one should be forced to submit to a religion, you should have the right to choose. They fought for basic human rights. Not only that but even the older sahibzaade had the choice to not fight in battle, but they decided to also die as martyrs as well. It also made me have so much respect for Guru Gobind Singh Ji because it is not easy to sacrifice your own children.
Chaar Sahibzaade: Movie on real heroes and on bravery of Guru Gobind Singh ji 4 Sons.Sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji for saving others. Very Nice movie, felt like watching it again and again. Though I have watched it 3 times, but still I regret that I couldn't got enough of this Movie. Every person living on this Earth should watch this Movie. This movie teaches you to sacrifice for others and it will increase love between family members. It teaches, how brothers should love each other. Respect for Film makers. Heartiest respect for all the Sikhs and Gurus who laid their life to save others.
