Too much of everything
This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Admirable film.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
The cast did an excellent job, the audio is amazing and the visuals are stunning. Whoever voted 1 on this is a complete moron. Impressive as always Denis.
Here we have a fairly pretentious-sounding 1-minute short film from successful Canadian director Denis Villeneuve. Watching this one, you may think it is a work from very early in his career, but nope, it is fairly recent actually as this one has its 5th anniversary this year. No idea what he was thinking though or the people who wanted him to make it. I am not sure, maybe this was done for a Canadian Film Festival? Anyway, it doesn't matter. These 45 seconds include red and green lights in a most annoying manner. At least they included a warning for people suffering from epileptics early on. There is no plot, no action, nothing. Just effects and a loud, pretty weak song we hear in the background. Villeneuve is a great filmmaker I think and I enjoyed some of his recent works a lot, but this one we have here must be his worst career effort by far. It is an abomination and I am glad it is that short. Méliès made better 1-minute movies 120 years ago. Stay far far away from this piece of crap. It's not art, only because it has the name Villeneuve attached to it.
