Great Film overall

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I really disappointed with this movie, I really anticipated this movie since the teaser trailer, but this movie just suck. The dialog is awful, the jokes aren't funny(some of them are), the scenes and the story very predictable and the animation just mediocre, they are not bad but not as great as everyone think. I'm actually surprised by how many people saying the animation was great and comparable international animated movies. Nope, it just comparable to the original shows it self. Not everything bad, the music was great though, but sometimes they're put in the some unnecessary scenes(i won't tell which because spoilers). In conclusion, This movie is not really worth to pay, i recommend you to watch IF it was release for free on TV station or in a cheap DVD(not supporting piracy). To me, as a Boboiboy fans in the past i'm just disappointed

before i get things started, i wanna tell you something that this movie is totally Overrated (as expected), lots of Malaysian totally in hype for this movie and willing to do anything to pump the rating up (it is very normal in every southeast Asian movie) ,even though it is not a decent animation movie, a bad one if u ask me. It is simply an overly contrived jumble trying out too many comic ideas that eventually swamp the central subject, lots of try hard pixarism mischaracterizes what good animation can be, story-line was too bland very much expected, the animation was so-so. and the Script was awfully written.Don't spent your money on this one, totally not worth it.

Boboiboy the movie is a based on a kids animated series. About a young boy and his friends having super powers saving the world from aliens. For once the aliens did not land in USA (like all normal aliens seem to do) but in Malaysia.I went in the movie thinking it was a kid movie or at most a family movie, came out pleasantly surprised. What many reviewers do not mention is that this movie is also entertaining for for anime fans and gamers. As some of the style, action sequence and super powers are heavily influence by the aforementioned (in 3D). Clearly a work of love by fans :)

This movie is indeed one of the best movie made by the animator studio in Malaysia. The movie is perfect in terms of characters' development, story, songs, musics and animations. The movie managed to grab the attention of the viewers. It is good to watch with families and friends. There are some reasons that we should watch this movie. The first reason is we can learn some good moral values from this movie. The second reason is this movie is open to adults, teenagers and children. There is no age limit. No blood splatters. The third reason is the characters in this movie are from different races. Some of the characters are using different languages but it is only for a few dialogs. It is still good to be able to see the characters communicating with each other with one language as it unify them all.
