A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
The plot is dumb, the acting isn't great, the effects are bad, and it all makes it freaking hilarious ride that makes me laugh every damn time XD
One of the most horrible movies ive ever seen.this is not a comedy. and the dialogs were horrible...
A clown (stand up comedian Ross Noble) comes back from the dead to haunt those who took his life during a fatal party mishap. This film is a dark comedy at times, especially in the beginning. As it goes, the movie becomes more of a gross-out comedy involving genitals. That is unfortunate, but may still appeal to some audiences.Star Tommy Knight is well-known in the UK, and certainly has the potential of being an international star. Co-star Gemma-Leah Devereux is much less well-known, but possibly has even more potential. As far as movies go, she has "the look".It was well played using Cutting Crew's "(I Just) Died in Your Arms", though it is unclear if they were trying to use it in its double entendre sense (methinks not). Appropriately, Cutting Crew is an English band (though it would have been even better if they were Irish).Bloody Disgusting wrote that the movie was "destined to become a cult classic" and carried "heavy replay value". This is doubtful, but not impossible.
There is a big difference between the "worst movie" ever and your least favorite. "Stitches" might be a bad movie, but I could hardly call it the worst. It's competently shot, decently acted and the gore effects are pretty well done. If I was judging on a purely objective scale, this film would probably get 3, maybe 4 stars. However, once you take into account the actual viewing experience, you begin to realize why I gave it this grade. If you like "Stitches", good for you. I won't take that away from you. But for me, personally, it was probably the worst viewing experience I've had in my life.I'm a fan of a good dark comedy, but it has to be good. "Stitches" isn't funny, and it isn't scary. It's dismal, gross, nasty and all around unpleasant. It's got a wicked mean streak, and it's not remotely funny enough to justify it. I think I laughed once, and it was a weak chuckle at best.See it for yourself if you'd like, but don't say I didn't warn you.
