Memorable, crazy movie

Great Film overall

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

If this is classed as comedy, I think I feel my intelligence is insulted. the only reason I didn't rate this movie a 1 is because I did enjoy the cars used in this movie as well as the soundtrack. what wonders me most is how did they get Val Kilmer, to play in this childish movie. I did not manage one laugh of even a smile.

SNL to movie transitions are risky, but this one held up. Several scenes throughout had me laughing hysterically. I'm more of a horror movie fan than comedy, but I made an exception here since I felt the MacGruber on SNL was mildly funny.This movie flew under the radar, I didn't even realize this was made into a movie until recently, and then I searched it out.I'm glad I did.The movie is goofy throughout, almost as if you're watching an extended sketch (which in all reality you are), but it's hilarious.There were several scenes in the movie I won't mention here, that I thought I would have to turn it off I was laughing so hard. Actually I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time for a comedic movie.To sum up, goofy, silly plot, absolutely hilarious. Watch it if you're in the mood for a good laugh.

First watching this select by my bf who watch SNL which got a sketch on MacGurber story-line.The intro theme said it all, Mac Gurber is inventor who make weapons out of daily household items, "Real American Hero", and "skilled love-maker" (which later he demonstrated his skills which was LOL)Character DynamicMacGurber is unbelieved and his emotional go from 1-10, and jump from conceitedly "cocky" to whimpering mess at a couple of moment in the film. He treated as his lackey and didn't really got a plan just winging it as he goes along while expecting his team to follow without question.Piper, male member of his team, a up-tight and handsome solider who reason of the team which point out outrageous behavior of Macgurber. Vicki who master of disguise comply with MacGurber no matter how crazy the plan is.Her hair and clothing styles are similar to Macgurber who look like he struck in 70 or 80's.Music and sound Love it. fitting to the scene. classic and macho for McGurber like the intro and when he crewing old members back in his team. My fav is "Take me home tonight" when McGurber come out of his car like a "boss" gate crash his arch nemesis Party and then seeing Vicki in stunning outfit to his liking. Sexual contentu will have to see it for your self. it was shocking. I for real Laugh out loud.

I have watched this movie more times than I can count. It is a little rough around the edges and unappealing from first glance but when given a real chance will not let down. This movie really grows on you with multiple viewings and is sure to do the same to anyone with an open mind. The first term that comes to mind when describing this movie is "cult classic." This movie is raunchy in all the right ways but balances itself out with silly humor as well. Will Forte does a great job with this movie by giving it a facade of half-wit humor and making fun of itself in subtle and also obvious ways. In short this movie is has a deeper humor than people give it credit for.
