I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
I rarely to never leave a movie feeling wowed. This movie was an exception; this was such a lovely and moving film. The characters were hauntingly beautiful as was there love story, filled with so much history that slowly unfolds seamlessly throughout the film. This movie made me laugh, and evoked so many other feelings. The critics interestingly enough missed the gem that this movie is.
Dear Lord the ONLY thing worse than the completely dull and ignorant script is the terrible, TERRIBLE acting! ANYONE with a family member with Alzheimer's, will get eyestrain from the constant rolling of them.
I eagerly watched this film recently with my wife, largely due to the two lead actors. My wife and I are both advancing in years and have a long term marriage of nearly 40 years so we have some commonality with the characters in the film. We were very disappointed. These characters were not even close to believable. I found the wife's character domineering, manipulative and selfish but presented as if she were caring and compassionate. The actions of the husband where totally unbelievable. Not even close to reality and he could not possibly function in the way he was presented. This wasn't fiction so much as disrespectful fantasy. I was staggered that two such fine actors could allow themselves to be placed in a film that, far from celebrating a couples life and love, simply worked to the current political agenda. I have seen other films treat similar themes with much more dignity and respect.
Well, while seeking your sunset leisure, your guys had polluted all the way from the very start to the end. In order to dramatize this bore-you-to-death film and tried to find some match from what the story described, you guys purposely found a big polluter RV to get the effect of two old geezers on a RV with busted engine that burned oil en route. We saw it blew out blue or black smog from its rear exhaust pipe, polluted the air with heavy smog and forced lot of people to inhale anywhere it went. What a terrible scene that almost choked me at the same time during watching. The dialog between the old couple not only uninteresting but also awkwardly contrite. Think about it, if you yourself were like the wife who still got a working brain and your hubby got early stage dementia, often lost in his own world of nothingness, so you had to keep talking to him, almost non-stop, trying to get him focus and didn't travel to the forth dimension, and your conversation would be kept interesting? Give me a break! The only high point of this film was when they met two young lowlifes trying to rob them, other than that, there's nothing worth keeping your interest. The dialog between the old couple with their adult son and daughter.....you think it would be interesting enough to keep you interested? NO! The only thing I'd like to complement on this movie is the rareness of some independent film makers still had the guts and interest making some least commercialized films, without the least use of stunt men, the least CGI special effect, without explosions, not too many dirty words that most movies churning out Hollywood, the F word seemed to be the major dialog in every scene. But shooting a movie with almost bare-bone like story, especially with one of the two main characters always seemingly in never-never land, you do need a huge heart to embrace it, to prove how kind and decent person you are. Me, a fat chance.
