My review may seem clichéd but just expressing what I felt after watching this movie. The movie is briefly about a 100% cunning and criminal minded police officer who teams up with a local and feared gangster. Soon after an incident, Daya changes into a very honest officer. He now goes against Prakash Raj. What happens after this is to be seen. Till this point, the movie is quite normal and is like typical Telugu movie in Puri Jagan's style. The second half does much better and at the end, this film is a thought provoking. Story may be old but is still powerful. Puri's direction is super and NTR's characterization is at peaks. NTR's best comes in this movie and his performance will be lapped up by both masses and class audiences. Overall, it's awesome.
I used to hate NTR for only one reason, why a talented hero like him acts always in dumb and stereotype movies like Brundavanam, Dhammu, Baadhshah, Rabhasa etc., which doesn't require a talented hero like NTR. I wanted to see him in movies with some different concepts or at least thrillers.Temper is the one which satisfied me with the role NTR played. Puri pulled the best out of NTR. Even people who doesn't like NTR will start liking him after watching Temper.Dialogs and comedy are perfectly placed. Songs are addictive after repeated listening. BGM could be done better. Not the Puri's best but definitely one of the best movies in recent times.I have seen it 3 times and enjoyed equally every time.
GOOD:- First of all, NTR-JR is seen in a new avatar. That is something refreshing in the movie. Movie is good throughout and entertains the people well. Biggest advantage being the director's trademark dialogs which are even electrifying when delivered by the protagonist. First half is okay with healthy comedy and second half is the show stopper with excellent climax scene which makes you re-believe in the potential of the Kingpin and the protagonist. Major asset in the movie is the BGM by Manisharma and the transcendent dance moves by NTR-JR.BAD:- As my title suggests, it is a feast for fans. It might not be very pleasing for family audience as the confabulations were bit vulgar and has lots of vagueness. Romance didn't work out that well between the protagonists and that was a poor plot. Couldn't use the full potential of the comedians Ali and Ramesh, maybe the plot didn't support their appearance further. Could have used JP well and given justification for his role in the movie. One might wonder after some time, about the protagonist's new avatar as all the dialogs seems to be yelling rather than being delivered. One might think that the movie has some plots relating to Rakhi and Lakshminarasimha. (Latter might not be very descry)Verdict:- Good movie with a new avatar. I personally enjoyed the movie and is definitely a one-time watch, period.
