Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
'Villegas' is an Argentine road movie. Two cousins - one straight-laced, neat and tidy; the other a free-spirited, irresponsible slob - journey together to the titular town to attend their grandfather's funeral, their polar opposite personalities ensuring they get on each other's nerves all the way. Once at their hometown, they interact with their family, learn various truths about each other and gradually come to an understanding. Plotting by numbers, then, with cardboard cut-out characters and story developments that will surprise no-one. But it's enjoyable, undemanding entertainment - indeed, if you're a fan of soap operas, you'll love this.
