I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Blistering performances.
The music of the film is composed by Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. There are two other songs which was seen itself in the movie but it was not released. One of them is sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal and is a romantic track by Pritam Zara Si Mehdi, the other is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, a romantic track & quot;Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar & quot adapted from an old Hindi film. Harry paralyses his left arm during a special mission in the Tiger Hill. They both want to speak to each other but fate always brings them closer and then separates them again.i think end is average .All over i felt more interesting things can be added.
The problem with this movie, is we have a neophyte director who wants to keep it all in the family, except, he is the only one talented and his son who is effete looking with a fake mustache and no talent. Then we have relatively newcomer to the movies-Sonam Kapoor who is a novice when it comes to acting and trying to make this as Romantic Epic except neither there is romance nor this is an epic. The story is inherently wrong and religiously defamatory and penned by an idiot who has not read the history. This scum should be kicked out of India with chappal garland. The direction is hapless and hopeless. Shahid Kapoor is one of the worst actor (in fact he can play a girl without his mustache.) The movie fails to make any impression in any form. There is an inordinate time and wry humor spent on the bicycles and silly dialogue exchanged which falls flat as a chapati. The movie is a drag and only audience who might find it interesting are few village folks who have not seen a movie or planes in a millennium. To the rest, this is a waste of precious time. Sonam Kapoor with an illustrious father-who is one of the best actors-has a long journey to achieve stardom. This movie has good sound, but rest is for the birds.
Mausam...... well maybe a bit cloudy..... very overcast the second half :) Wonderful set up in the beginning, great scenery in Punjab, and gentle satire about Punjabi people... a great scene was set for 2 lovers to meet and for their relationship to blossom.... but somewhere down the road, that blossom wilted in all the brilliant ideas someone wanted to incorporate, which neither were logical nor did any service to what could otherwise have been a beautiful movie.... the soundtrack most definitely saved it from absolute disaster.... the Intermission came at a great time, when you were just getting into the movie, only to find out after intermission.... oh no i shouldn't have.... :) some horses and children and trains could have been skipped, sometimes less is more.... and if you don't know how to find her.. use Google, hehhehehe
It starts off much better than the useless action garbage Bollywood is shovelling down our throats these days, as season 1 of Mausam presents a simple and carefree love story. But as time passes and our star-crossed lovers continually fail to stay together, the film begins taxing on your nerves. It goes from great, to good, to indifferent and eventually stupid in the span of its almost 3 hour running time. Don't know what Pankaj was thinking but the flight sequence and completely over the top climax were really poor. Maybe someone told the director he needed more current commercial elements, and in succumbing to the same, he did his movie a great disservice. Luckily, both Shahid and Sonam give great performances along with the supporting cast, and the songs by Pritam are too good to ignore. It is a lot better than the countless Readys, Dabanggs, Forces and Bodyguards out there, but that is hardly a compliment.
