Boatlift
From the midst of 9/11, one of the darkest moments in American history, comes this inspiring and relatively unknown story. When the twin towers fell, hundreds of thousands of people ran to the water's edge. They soon realized that Manhattan is, indeed, an island. And that they were trapped. Within moments, an armada of every vessel that could get to the city's seawall spontaneously organized. Dashing into the teeth of danger, hundreds of boats pulled together and, without any formal planning, military or otherwise, they pulled off an ad-hoc sea evacuation that became the largest in history. Their story of courage and resolve reminds us of the powerful spirit that rose among us, on that fateful day. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Directed by Eddie Rosenstein.

Surviving 9/11
Surviving 9/11
9/11 was perhaps the defining historical event of the postwar era. Broadcast live around the world like horrifying theatre, it was a moment in history imprinted onto people's memories. But what was it like to actually live through, and how easy is it to move on from a day that society wants to go on remembering? Twenty years on, this film brings together 13 ordinary people who were caught in an event they weren't able to fully comprehend at the time and which they are still working through.

The New American Century
The New American Century
"Historically accurate, narratively captivating, The New American Century is one of the best films about the facts behind the 9/11 attacks". Webster G. Tarpley "The New American Century is a stunning film. It should be seen as widely as possible, in cinemas, bars, clubs, at meetings and, of course, through the internet. I'm sure the film will continue to be a source of debate and political education for many years." Ken Loach. Massimo Mazzucco’s Inganno Globale (soon in English as "Global Deceit") presented all the major inconsistencies in the 9/11 official version, i.e. World Trade Center’s demolition, no Boeing at the Pentagon, etc., that lent credibility to the accusation by the so-called "9/11 Truth Movement" of the attacks having been an inside job. The New American Century presents the historical, philosophical, economical and political background, some of which is practically unknown to the general public, that seems to support such accusation by the 9/11 Truth Movement.

This was an amazing, well put together documentary! I have watched it more then once and have recommended it to several friends. What a crazy story, even with reading the title and knowing where its headed it still has a way of surprising you. I found myself starting to believe her, already knowing the truth because how detailed she was. It's also interesting to Google her after you watch it.... It was interesting to hear what she has been up to and finding out that she as of a year ago was working at a law firm but was terminated (according to what I found) after the documentary came out. I definitely recommend this film. I have turned several of my friends onto it that have all enjoyed it.

"The Woman Who Wasn't There" is a psychological thriller that goes inside the mind of history's most infamous 9/11 survivor: Alicia Esteve "Tania" Head, a pathological liar and hideously ugly creature.Who is this, mourning over a real person, but her stories of their romance are completely fabricated -- they never met. Who makes up such a vivid description of crawling through smoke and flames on the 78th floor of the South Tower? Head claimed a degree from Harvard University and a graduate business degree from Stanford University, but those institutions had no record of her. Head claimed she had been working at Merrill Lynch in the World Trade Center, but Merrill Lynch had no record of her employment. Heck, she was not even in the country at the time. And then, she was photographed with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and former New York Governor George Pataki. Her story is fascinating and makes for a good documentary, but she is such an ugly person, taking a tragedy and turning it into some sort of selfish game.
