Ever since the British succeeded in making a recent but so memorable holiday movie as the already-classic Love Actually, Hollywood is trying to make their own version of this kind of romantic comedy with a fusion of life stories that come together during some special day (from the top of my head "Valentine's day" and "New Year's eve"). However, they all appear typical - a bunch of famous names and forced stories, just into making profit and not caring about the message much. But now, the European cinematography strikes again, with the beautiful movie "Listy do M.". The biggest advantage of this movie is its credibility. Of course, it does have some twists that probably wouldn't happen in real life (but okay, it's the magical Christmas time) but the unknown actors and the language that it's not English (which we're used to hear all the time in the cinema) make you believe that these stories also happen to normal people and not just in movies - while obtaining top quality in the technical part of filmmaking. Also, before seeing it I was afraid the stories would be the same old ones. I like how the creators thought outside the box and had some interesting twists. So all in all - fantastic work and I'm hoping to see more work from this director!

Don't turn around from this movie just because it is made in Poland with Slovenian director, just watch it! Emotionaly deep without any to-long dialogs. Characters are amazing, and they will rock your Christmas right to the core of it's meaning. The scenery is brilliant and goes well together with the Christmas spirit and the evolution of characters. There was just one last scene, which in my opinion, wasn't necessary, but altogether - simply marvelous!I hope that every viewer will appreciate this movie being played for him/her.

I personally love this movie. It is better then all Christmas movies i ever seen in my life, i will put this one on a shelf with Kevin Home Along. The basic plus is for conversation between people play sometimes crazy characters. Not all people in the world have traditional Christmas. This is a movie about Christmas when you don't have mom or your married is ending or you work when you should spend time with family. All difference tape of Christmas has one unlike think that keep this movie so amazing it is love. All characters love someone but they forget about that and a Christmas help them to find a right message. We have here a radio presenter my favorite who raise along son that is a perfect example of good and love kid. We have young women working on a mall who find a love when she give up. We have crazy Santa who have kids and soon he will be a dad. Wife who cheating finally find a way to bond with her lost relationship. They all fight for there life and never give up, they work on there problems. No American movie could make me fill so in Christmas when it is more then a month to feel it. Go and see it you will not regret.
