I am not a huge Care Bears fan, but I do love the TV show and the original movie, and enjoyed New Generation, Wonderland and Nutcracker, so I admit I was eager to see Oopsy Does It! I was a little dubious as well, because it was in CGI, not because I don't like CGI, but because Journey to Joke-a-Lot was in CGI and I disliked that movie personally. However I was surprised. The movie is not perfect, with too-short a length, corny dialogue and moments where the character designs lacked finesse(though not as bad as Journey to Joke-a-Lot). Despite the flaws, I found myself enjoying the movie. The animation is colourful and vibrant on the movie, and there is enough whimsy in the music to make it listenable. The basic plot is nothing new, but the heart and enthusiasm of the storytelling does help to overlook that. The care bears characters are infectious enough and generous in attitude, a little on the saccharine side perhaps(they always were but that was part of their charm) but not the wimpy and bullying characters of Journey to Joke-a-Lot. Grizzle was a decent villain, but I personally never found him scary in the way I found the book(from the original movie) and DarkHeart(from New Generation) scary. The voice acting is solid from all involved, especially Scott McNeil. All in all, not a great movie but a surprising one. 7/10 Bethany Cox

This is a great kids movie. The old care bears are back, but looking modern and vibrant. The premise is that Grizzle the bad bear is trying to steal the bears 'Belly Badges'. The story revolves around Oopsy Does It, a care bear that has no belly badge because he is so clumsy. He draws his feelings on his blank belly. My kid loved the movie and is a big fan of the resurgent care bears. The Grizzle scenes are a little scary, but not too bad. I had to explain that he is a bear who is lonely and wants friends. There is a huge care bear amusement park that the bears are building that my kid loves. They do a great job of taking you on the ride with the bears. It looks great on a big screen TV. I give it a 10. It is very well drawn...do we even say that? Very well CGI'd
