Massive earthquakes open the Arabian tectonic plate, resulting in unstable weather and freezing temperatures that will be unsurvivable by nightfall. Attempting to reach safety, a vacationing family in Egypt must battle the rapidly cooling temperatures that usher in a new Ice Age, covering the Sphinx, Pyramids, and Sahara Desert with mountains of snow.

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
This movie has so much negatives i dont even know where to begin. Movie was obviously made with a really low budget which explains the unprofessional actors which i tried to ignore as best as i could. The special effects used seem like those green screen effects you can find in a YouTube video for free. They even re-use scenes twice and they do not even try to hide it.The story is your average catastrophe movie following a family that is trying to survive in a catastrophe, it was really boring to follow and forgettable. And at one point the main character calls a plane to get them from a frozen lake with heavy snowstorm and mist. They just throw phones onto the snow with flashlights on and a plane sees the lights from over 200 meters in the air. My favourite scene since it does not make any sense what-so-ever.
unbelievable movie. I just watched the movie because of title, thinking this will be similar to 'Day after tomorrow' sort of movie. I now regret that I didn't look at review before watching. if you really want to waste your 2 hours I rather suggest count bricks of your wall... No acting, no script, no logic, no sense
Where do I begin? First let me say that this film does not contain any plot holes... they are all huge, bottomless caverns! As for technical accuracy, well, except for the fact that the country of Egypt actually exists, there isn't any. The film is consistent, consistently bad that is in writing, dialog and special effects. I would love to give some examples but honestly don't know where to start. However, if you are curious and don't mind wasting part of your life that you will never get back, just watch the first five minutes, you'll understand. Personally, I don't think it's worth the loss.My guess is someone either received their tax refund, got drunk and said to the buddies, "Hey, let's make a movie!" or couldn't figure out a better way to launder money. That last comment is a joke so don't sue me; trust me, there are much better ways to launder money. Unfortunately, the best thing about this film is its movie poster/DVD cover. I suspect that's where most of the budget went. In summation let me say that, were Mystery Science Theater 3000 still airing, the folk there would have a field day with this movie. I recommend watching it while inebriated or otherwise impaired, not because doing so will make the film seem any better, you just won't feel so much like your intelligence is being insulted.
This is one of those films you watch and honestly think 'I could do better.' There are lines and plot points in this film that seem like they were written by someone with half a brain, and the acting is so bad it stops being funny after the first hour.I finished this film with a lot of questions. Some of them are: Why does the wife sound so much like Louis from Family Guy? How is the son still alive? Why was everyone so nice to the spoiled rich Americans when all they did was shout at everyone, demand things and generally be quite rude? Where did the father learn to act? How do you slide down the side of a pyramid without a scratch? How does some wind cut a guy in half? What the heck was even going on in this film? The special effects are terrible, but it's a B movie so I can usually overlook that. However, some parts (such as outside the hotel) were clearly shot in someone's back garden. The acting was just horrible. The characters were awful, unlikeable people and their lines were drivel. The father was probably the worst actor, the only half decent ones in it were the guy from Jordan and the daughter. Not one bit of the plot made sense - the timeline, the cause of the storm, the depth of the snow (apparently deep enough to bury a pyramid)...The ending is literally: Camera goes shaky-cam first person in the dad's face, he can't find his son, he faints for no reason, his son comes running up, the end.Just what.
