KILL SPEED is a high-octane, youth oriented, TOP GUN meets FAST & FURIOUS tale about best friends who fly home-built, high-tech planes to deliver Mexican manufactured crystal meth throughout rural California in order to fund their Hollywood, rock-star lifestyle.

Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Than watch the acting in this movie again. Movies like this should never hit the shelf and burned. I think that if nick carter is going to be in movies, maybe he should be an extra so he can sit back and take notes. He is retarded thinking he's ghetto or even an ounce of ghetto. He dresses like that in real life so you would think he would be a little more natural at it. I would never watch a movie with nick carter in it again. I didn't even watch the whole thing someone was watching it and had to beg them to turn it off. I hope he reads these review so hopefully he can see how ridiculous he looks and how horrible his acting is. There is not even an ounce of talent. Probably wouldn't be that bad of a movie if he wasn't in it.
This was an enjoyable film for pilots as the action was quite real and some of the technical aspects of flying were accurate. For example, in the beginning there was a scene where the aircraft needed a hot start and the main character had to wait it out on the runway to get the plane restarted. On the other hand, flying through downtown LA was clearly dumb. At times the humor was cheesy, but overall it was fun to watch with the great flying sequences. The main characters were likable and real. The outcome at the end was far-fetched considering the scale of the crimes, but I don't think that was the aim of the movie.
Good acting, great character development, and some humour. What more could you ask for? This was a lot better than many of the higher budget films I have seen. I really liked the characters and the story line - nothing earth shattering or unexpected, but an enjoyable movie all around. The storyline was predictable, but what I found the best was the characters. The movie took a little time getting started, it was slow and kinda weird - I guess laying the feeling of the drug trade and what it does, but I do not feel it lent anything to the movie as a whole. If you can hold on watching long enough to get to met Stayger and the rest of the Fly Boys, the story really gets going along at a good clip from there. I could not stop thinking about Andrew Keegan and how he reminded me of Heath Ledger. I would recommend this movie to anyone wanting just a plain old good story.
Your usual brainless action flick that still entertains you enough when all the good films are already rented out is usually about 90 minutes. Why they made this horrible ride 23 minutes longer is beyond my comprehension because the movie just doesn't have enough substance for that. The basic story of some "cool" guys drug trafficking with airplanes, getting mixed up in some bad stuff and in the end pulling off a "glorious" rescue mission that makes them the good guys COULD be entertaining enough as a basis. Unfortunately we get confronted with dialogue that is barely more interesting then the white pages, acting that makes Arnold Schwarzenegger look like a Oscar winner and action scenes that, except for the showdown, are so boring that not even an "exciting" soundtrack and fast cuts can make it really interesting. And even the showdown isn't that cool.Save your money for something else, you'll only end up very angry if you don't.
