Excellent but underrated film
I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
The acting in this movie is really good.
Did not even expect this innocent girl kind performance from kangana. Luv u babe a lot. You arw the real queen of bollywood!
I personally didn't intend to watch this garbage but as the rating is so high and overrated, I had to waste almost my two and a half hours. The movie was quite interesting till Rani landed in Paris. Then cliché dramas and boring entertainments took place in this movie and the direction of this movie somehow got lost. No story or no plot-line, slow and quite predictive. There were many unnecessary party scenes which might give you headache. Rani, a who reached the critical age of marriage, did not know or was afraid to cross the road in Paris. What the hell was she doing all her life in India? I think the director lost materials to this movie. Why the heck Rani was talking in Hindi to foreigners, I just don't get it. Lisa Hayden aka Vijaylakhsmi(in this movie) just irritated me. The protagonist was told to give a parcel to a prostitute in Amsterdam by Vijaylakshmi when she had her lonely honeymoon, a redundant part of this movie. In Amsterdam she met an Italian cook who was asking what else Rani wanted to eat and then a boring dialogue took place. Oh my God, Don't Italians eat chilies? After that the cook asked her to cook for him for one day to earn a few money, just because he liked the food recipients she told her. So why the hell was he running a restaurant if he hadn't believe in himself in cooking? In the end there were three technical mistakes i noticed but perhaps the readers won't like these. 1st, she called the tall fair guy 'Sikander' unknowing his Russian name yet she mentioned in one of her Facebook posts 'Olexander' which was his correct name. 2nd, the protagonist gave Vijaylakshmi her own dress which is seen in the movie poster but the protagonist was seen in one of her Facebook posts wearing that same dress. 3rd, the protagonist's Facebook account showed us that she had some eighteen friends but the amount of likes her each and every post got were more than the number i wrote.
Yes, the super acting of Kangana made me a big fan of her. The way she acted and how easily and in a very simple way she handled every situation was mind blowing. The story starts with the cancellation of her marriage and how she alone goes on her honeymoon. On the whole journey she experiences a new lesson, new things and get to know her inner being that no one can judge her. The best scene is where she got drunk and vomits all the things that were bothering her. And when the beats of a famous Indian Song- Hungama Ho gaya lands in her ear, she becomes excited aand what she dances is like anything. The best part is returning back to India, in a cool mind, refuses the proposal of his fiancé.
Wanna experience a hot air balloon ride? If not literally, Vikas Bahl's 'Queen' will surely give you the feel! This one too takes off after fire of strife but gradually zooms up in the air higher and higher, all liberated from the shackles of earthly rules and grief. 'Queen' is a journey of discovering oneself. Simply put – "When things go wrong, cry not; gather your guts, not just move over but fly!". Story begins with a happy girl excited for her wedding and ends with the same girl and her same excitement but this time for her life. This a kind of movie that sets a milestone in the creativity of movie making. No matter how lost you are , you can find happiness even in your darkest times and who knows may be that will set you completely on a different path and change your perspective about life and happiness in its uncertainty.
