It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Mixes action, suspense, horror, and romance together (precise order is irrelevant) in a hilarious stew. That would be perfect if I was watching a comedy, but the writer's spun it as a serious Sci-Fi movie, not some cheesy flick, Forbidden Planet was far more realistic and it was a B-Movie. Taking elements from Jurassic Park, only in as much that the creature tore everyone apart with it's claws and teeth, Predator, again only because it could make itself invisible and had infrared vision, head looked somewhat like that of the Alien creature. The 1 scene where the CIA doctor's camera keeps flashing pictures driving the creature bonkers, why did they not just use strobe lights and while it was disoriented shoot darts with a sedative into it, high dose of some type of sedative. Does anyone buy it would have taken the CIA clean up team that long to arrive, come on now even for fiction that is difficult to believe. I feel compelled to let anyone who reviews this review, caught this movie on NETFLIX, sometime within the past 2 wks. I spoke to 1 of their CSRs reminding her that I canceled my streaming, free membership promotion with LG Smart TV ends in late November, service will continue until then. I told her that their movies cannot in any way ever be referred to as new releases, their movies are poorly written and directed, all around lousy quality. CSR had the nerve to tell me that most of the movies they have available for streaming are usually available through them before buying or rental, sure if 1 is referring to prior mentioned quality straight to TV, or DVD movies, TV 9 times out of ten you can bet your bottom dollar it was a SyFy Channel original.

... of movies like Predator, Alien, Jurassic Park, Rambo, Indiana Jones, etc ... ... and of bad script, terrible lines, lame acting, rubber ducks and aliens from "Alien", bad actors, stupid situations, idiotic characters and other stuff in the same category.oh and how the hell can you extract dna from goddamn BONES?? let's clone dinosaurs, shall we?and what IS that thing anyway? is it an alien? "ancient creature" ? I bet those things lived around Caesar or Cleopatra. did they keep them as pets? 'cause I want one then !so... Enjoy !

Yea , this is a cheap imitation of Predator , that doctor wants to be Rambo , I mean , c'mon , fighting 1 on 1 with that rubber creature , and , about the creature , my rubber duck looks more realistic :D The scene with the helicopter blowing up , I think I can do it better on my PC

This is the most crappy film I've seen in a long time. The bones of a creature is found in a jungle and they turned in to a creature of malice(I can't remember how, the movies was so bad). The creature starts killing people. The visuals of the monster is a history of it's own. Sometimes it's a man in a costume, sometimes it's animated. The differance is like the one between a wookie and a fish. The special effects are... hard to describe without crying. They are horrible. Some events in the movie are just odd, like when a grenadelauncher, or some sort of big mega gun is thrown in the water and floats ashore.I'd say you should see the movie though, just to get a laughter. We laught/cried in the end, we had rented it for some money, and, well...
