I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Best movie ever!
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
So this film does well to hold up for about an hour with its plot, but all hell seems to break lose towards the end. The film does little to no effort to render its dialogue clear enough for what is a very convoluted narrative. It's the sort of story that takes focusing just reading on paper, let alone on the screen when the lines are being delivered in real time with absolutely no attempt to space themselves. This is one of the ones that tries to be complex, but just turns out complicated; tries to be clever but feels way too self-satisfied and, just, muffled. Not that a film needs to be completely obvious, but this surely is the other extreme. It takes every ounce of focus to get what's happening from scene to scene, who does what to who and why and who did what when, and the final chapter is just a concentrated dose of that and feels quite exhausting...for a small reward. Frustrating watch. Too bad, they really had something to work with.
Brick is a movie that in some points follows the basic structure of a film noir; such as, the main story line of solving a mysterious murder. Most of the time, the film tries to use the classic film noir structure, but blending with punk and gang styles. What actually happens is a boring and static way to tell a possible interesting story ruined by some bad and confusing dialogues. The dialogue that the film tries to incorporate fails again despite the interesting vocabulary used. The film doesn't establish a connection between the characters and the public. Both aspects ruined the experience that I had with the movie. However, the acting of the main character is good and the interesting shots of the movie help to make it watchable.
Brick is a film where a lot happen at the same time. It has many aspects of film noir. For example, the PIN wears trench coats and hats. The actors use guns, cigarettes as well as fight a lot. Brick tells a dangerous story about a high school boy who chooses the way in the life of high school crime because of his disappeared ex-girlfriend. These dangerous atmospheres and fast fights are typical for film noir, but the movie isn't in black and white. In general it is a brutal film and the most of the time the mood is strained and despairing because of the mystery about the main actors ex-girlfriend. I think this film is confusing. The specific vocabulary makes the movie difficult to understand and this makes it hard to follow the movie. At least it wouldn't be my favorite film because it was difficult to understand and every character is a kind of aggressive. I would change it because they fight all the time and many times without a good reason. It isn't exciting when people fight in each conversation they have. I would change it that they fight less and only in crucial parts. More over, I would change the end of the fights because the main character ends the same way. Most of the time, the main character starts the fight by putting his glasses away. Finally, I think that the basic story is a pretty good idea but I would reduce the violence.
Brick – Movie Review The film's narrative centers on a detective story set in a suburb in California. Most of the main characters go to high school. The movie begins that Brendan is finding the dead body of his onetime girlfriend in a drainage ditch. Brendan's feeling for her still exist, so much so, that he wants to find the murder of Emily. He plays with his own life after getting into the colliding social orbits of rich-girl Laura, intimidating Tugger, substance- abusing Dode, seductive Kara, jock Brad and non-student Pin. With this decision, he got in an inner circle of crime and punishment that Brendan will be able to uncover hard truths about himself, Emily and the suspects that he is getting closer to. The movie includes a lot of aspects who stand for a film noir: The whole atmosphere is created very dark and spooky, most of the scenes are urban scenes, such as an apartment blocks and black alleys. These urban scenes were filled with dark corners and shadows and little lightening which shows us that there could be more that meets the eye. Guns are a great part of the movie as they bring action to it. They give a sense of danger and excitement. All these aspects create the general mood of the movie, while watching you feel like being in another world, a weird and kind of mystical life. The actors create an aura of fun suspense and mystery that can only be found in black and white noir mysteries of a similar nature. From the intriguing story to the sensational dialogue and even to the amazing way in which is filmed, Brick has all the makings of a film that just about any true fan of cinema can appreciate. It is entertaining, startling and thought provoking all the same time. In conclusion, I just can recommend the movie. The characters were totally engaging, the high schoolers in this underground society who were involved with crimes and investigations and research, it gave the film a refreshing authenticity rarely found in films today.
