Awesome Movie
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
It's a B-Movie, yes it is, but a very good one. There's some flaws in the CGI effects here and there but you'll find them in the top notch block busters as well. I love the steam punk vibe and the tone of the photo which gives the film a WWII/Nazi/noir feel. Not a movie for the political correct as someone mentioned. Iron Sky 2 at the other hand, have taken the weirdness a step too far in my opinion.
this is a very weird movie. the basic premise is that Nazis have a base on the moon and want to invade earth, that itself sounds crazy. and that's what this movie is: it's crazy but kind of fun. i'd say the first act up to the beginning of the second act weren't very fun and a little boring maybe. but then then movie went crazy in the end of the second act until the third act, and it was getting crazier until a point when it became kind of sad. final sentence: 7-7.5/10 it's fine but you may not like it
Honestly how do these people sleep at night knowing that they've made such a violently pathetic piece of ****?I never understood why you'd make a movie like this, and to be honest if you think this movie is good you're part of the problem. Good cinema is hard to come by nowadays and it looks like this although it's "original" is trying wayyyy too hard to be funny.Do they think they're being ironic or is it they're trying for humor? Or is it an originality complex? Did the director really understand what he was doing to cinema when he decided to waste 93 mins of my time or was he oblivious? Either way I want my money back.
Damn good fun movie. Much silliness. Full of plot holes, but those holes match the genre well and can (and should) be ignored. There's a few items of silliness, a lot of ridiculousness, and a good fun poke at several of the tropes of the style. The 'zeppelins' are, of course, a staple, and a well-done version of the trope. The small ships are appropriately menacing, with the iconic 88mm long gun. We'll ignore where the propellant's from....The Tardis was an interesting addition.Watch it, support and get the second one.
