Good start, but then it gets ruined
Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Raees is a creative artist from acting to directing. Shahrukh Khan wonderful visual representation habit has a fictional ability to quote the character Nawaz his role is beautiful and proficient and Mahera role of thin and beautiful and much loved with Shahrukhan. The story is realistic and full of thrill. All songs are better and better than others Finally we say it's a masterpiece we say just wow
1) be a punk child don't go to school sell drugs and get accolades by mother .seriously what kind of mothers teaches her child rules of alcohol and drugs delivery mafia. 2) To be a hero you need to be rich and bad. Just nice by heart will work. 3) Only corrupt people can be in politics and jail is a nurture for a good politician. 4) Commit crime and kill whole life and at the end do one charity that too by illegal means. 5) Go against crime and stay smart. 6) kill 900 cats and then go to pilgrimage. 7) Even if your boyfriend or husband's is criminal stick to him and stay in his love and emotions and keep supporting his wrongs. Nutshell.pathetic romance. Stupid Maheera smile and support of a villain. Only thing good was that police officer. Rest Shah Rukh has lost his edge. He should come as grand father or father roles now. Leave it for new generations. I can kill too for wasting my150 minutes. After all this is what i learned from the movie. Kill and pay a price.
Raees - Good but not so good film. Film revolves around the illegal liquor trade in Gujarat(as liquor is banned in Gujarat). It's a typical Shahrukh movie with a twist of negativity. First half appeared to be a trademark Ram Gopal Verma Film - breaking bottles, killing enemies and making of a gangster. Second half make little sense - acting based situations, cat-mouse relation between Criminal-Politician-Police. Shahrukh's acting has nothing new, its same as his other movies. Nawazuddin's acting was normal. Actually its very hard for an actor like Nawaz to probe his mettle in a typically commercial movie. Mahira's acting was very natural. Sometimes she looks good and sometimes she seemed to be more aged than Shahrukh(maybe the fault is in my eyes). Story of the film is good and has relevance to many real-life incidents. End was quite predictable as main character of the movie had darker shades. Movie is bound to show the win of good over bad and specially when it's a movie of the superstar of Bollywood(social responsibility). Overall its a one time watch.
*****SPOILER ALERT***** Raess tells the stories of two men pitted against one another in a situation that corrupts them both. Shah Rukh Khan plays the title character, a bootlegger who tries to be an honest businessman in a dishonest business. Initially unwilling to murder for hire, he is eventually tricked into facilitating a terrorist bombing that takes innocent lives and finds himself the target of a business rival. He reacts with violence, killing the men responsible. Through bribing local police and government officials, Raees appears to be untouchable. Only one man, ACP Majmudar (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), refuses to be bought. He tries everything in his power to stop Raees' criminal activity, only to be blocked at every turn by corrupt officials. Finally, the incorruptible cop realizes that he can't stop Raees by working within the justice system. Rather than admit defeat, he steps outside the system and murders Raees.
