Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
Almost every first person camera film I've ever seen has been utter garbage this could've been a cool film and even creepy yes I guess that first person can make things creepy at times but at also it doesn't help when you can barely see what's supposed to be scaring you because it's so dang shaky I'm very VERY disappointed
I just needed an outlet so that I can rant!!! So, As another reviewer said above, I created an account just to review this movie, something I have never done before. Ok, the Glass seemed pretty cool at first; however, Sarah took it way past the point of cool to straight up annoying. Somehow I wished that Sarah died in a plane crash to Tel-Aviv, but I suppose then we wouldn't have the lovely Rachel now would we? I feel so betrayed, but yet so entertained simultaneously. This chic Sarah irritated me the entire time, but every time I tried to disengage myself from the movie, for some strange odd reason I was still intrigued. I was very attracted to Rachel, and Keven, and Omar. Sarah yelled Kevin's name so much that I soon lost interest in him sadly. Not only was Sarah annoying, but come to think of it, her dad was too, and Drake, Rachel's "boyfriend". If it wasn't for Sarah bratty tale, perhaps I would've given this movie 10 stars instead. I mean like seriously, wasn't her dad freaking annoying? Like both of them together suffer from anxiety. As long as I watch movies, I don't ever want to see this Sarah character in another film...EVER! But it was worth watching....see what I'm sayin..? I'm totally confused!
Jeruzalem is a kind of found footage flick were things go awfully wrong when the underworld breaks free in Jeruzalem. It reminded me of flicks like Cloverfield (2008) and As Above So Below (2014). It take a while before the horror comes in so before that we do follow two girls who are on a trip together but do meet a guy and together they decide to go to Jerusalem. So the first part we do see them going out and visit Jerusalem. Of course they are out for sex and things all do work out fine until two fighterplanes are flying over Jerusalem and do drop a bomb. From that point things go wrong for the gang. Is it gory, not really it's pure suspense in a creepy atmosphere. It's all filmed from the smartglasses from one of the girls. When the demons do attack it's all a bit blurry and shaky but for me it did work out fine. But I can understand that some people aren't into those kind of horrors. A bit too much of sightseeing and partying going on in the beginning but once the attack starts it's okay. Maybe for some the Nephilim are a bit over the top but luckily they aren't the main thing.Worth seeing if you are into found footage flicks.Gore 1/5 Nudity 0,5/5 Effects 2/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0/5
Soooo...this was your average zombie-like things with wings flick. The premise was found footage-style using Google Glass spectacles (really? really). The special effects were decent - gory with plenty of splatter. The story line was pretty average as was the script and the acting. Yes, the characters did do illogical things, but it was somewhat entertaining none-the-less. The zombie-flying things were kind of cool in a way. They screeched, mauled and attacked creating a grotesque chaos. I did like the ending - no spoiler here - everyone got what they deserved! (I had no idea Jerusalem was a party destination. I can't say it is on my bucket list.
