Excellent, Without a doubt!!
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
For what, unbelievably, is my 100th review*, I am reviewing a movie that is 100 minutes long!I have seen this many times in my life. In theaters, at home, on TV, even in 5th grade, it was my teacher's favorite movie. It came to a point where I was "see-sick" of Finding Nemo. But I still viewed it, and somehow it is now in my top 10 favorite Disney movies. Now that I am 19, not 4 going on 5, as I was when this released, there are many things I get now then when I was a kid. Inside jokes, like Nemo being in a school of fish. "Don't you people realize we are swimming in our own..."-"SHH! " stuff like that. I have a friend who prefers to mainly watch Christian movies but a friend showed her this and she loves it, too! So, if you lost your chances in the past to see Nemo, find him now-he's waiting for you!*It was at the time-it most likely is not now.
Pixar's beautifully animated classic shines as one of the greats! Finding Nemo's great animation and colorful characters make for beautiful film experience that will make you feel all kinds of emotion. Stellar direction and story from Andrew Stanton and beautiful performances. (the standout being Ellen DeGenerous) Finding Nemo is and always will be the great film that it deserves to be.
Was this film made for lonely sad adults to appraise it's artistic or cultural impact. It's a great family with young kids film, especially when all we're left with is the new Marvel or DC comic action hero film. It's a nice film accept it for what it is.
Finding Nemo is to begin with a movie with stunning visual effects and editing, the perspectives and colors are just amazing. The story is beautiful and relatable even though it is about fish. Clownfish Nemo gets captured by a diver, his father Marlin, is doing everything he can to find his son. He gets the help of Dory, a fish with short term memory loss. Dory is very funny in my opinion. Marlin and Dory travel through dark oceans and colorful reefs all the way to Sydney where Nemo is. To make a long story short: a beautiful film about a strong relationship between father and son. And then lastly, Thomas Newman did an excellent job on the music score. The music fits the visuals perfectly and it really calls on the intended emotions i think. Finding Nemo is my all time favorite movie. I can never have enough of it.
