This movie is totally hilarious it is more like a sci-fi parody & irony is that almost everyone was involved in making this nonsense actually are very serious about it you name it from the cast, crew & etc.I love independent films but films like these make me laugh & people say Michael bay or Roland Emmerich are lame directors,it was a low budget film but still better then quantum of solace 2008 the James bond 007 film with Daniel Craig & Die Another Day 2002 is a classic compared to that. The story is about a comet coming in to earths orbit & scientists are going crazy as time is running out & end of the world is near. The dialogs & conversations between characters is so serious even more then a Stanley Kubrick movie just an excuse so the audience will relate to it but they failed to cover up the cheap cgi, bad acting & garbled archive footage.First the flood & disaster comes then later these guys launch a ICBM(missile) at some place altering the time & things goes back to the way they were everyone lives happily ever after wow i mean what a story totally Oscar worthy.Plus who can forget the story angle where random thugs rape the guys girlfriend & hero gets shot helpless, whoever wrote this script must be on drugs. As for the cast there are some hot women but i liked Kristen Quintrall she is one hot eye candy that's it probably the only one people should check out this film for.Overall Quantum Apocalypse 2010 is a film for ones who don't like quantum of solace 2008 my rating is 2/10.

This film has got to be a contender for worse movie ever made. The acting was atrocious and more wooden than the biggest Giant Redwood, the direction was non existent and the script would have been better if it had been written by my pet budgies.SPOILER BEGINS This is the story of a group of people who have to save the world from a comet heading for Earth which also produces an anomaly, a gravitational vacuum. Those who have the job of trying to save the world are made up of a mash-up of no hopers.SPOILER ENDS We have seen this genre of movie time after time but everyone of the others were much more entertaining. In fact Quantum Apocalyps had no entertainment value whatsoever. The movie had one redeeming factor, it ended.I wish IMDb had a Zero rating because if any movie deserved a zero, Quantum Apocalypse did.

Unlike most of theses reviews, i really enjoyed this movie. Maybe its because I'm a science freak that's always searching conspiracy sites, or enjoyed watching down the rabbit hole. If you like Particle Accelerators, Rain man, Mars Rover, NASA, and the end of the world, you might be able to get threw the 'bad' special effects and actually enjoy the movie for what its trying to get threw to youWhat i found the most fascinating about this movie is that it took us to the brink of humanity, it made everyone realize we're just one big family, and it took a event so crazy and unbelievable (but possible) for us to figure out how to create Faster then light travel and Time travel, only to have us go back and forget it all!!! i loved the way they conveyed Deja vu, got me thinking quite a bit, and if you're anything like me, you'll probably love this movie.they did VERY well with characters and character development, it just too bad they didn't have a bigger budget

It's amazing how they managed to mix up all the technical details in poor attempt to make the movie appear more hi-tech without real need to.First, for some reason they mention that Amiga OS is superior to every other OS, despite the fact that Amiga has been out of business for about 10 years or more. In the same scene, where Ben talks to his brother Terry, he mentions that communications are down and Terry just says "It's OK I rerouted my connection to other DNS server...." that's just....Furthermore when the two scientists use the NSSA computers to calculate the complex mathematical formula, ERROR MEMORY FULL appears on the main display. In the end, when Terry finally manages to get to Houston, he brings his home computer as it was superior to all government machines and when Ben asks was everything OK he answers "They needed VGA cable and I only have DVI" yes and that's his Amiga we are talking about! Seriously is it so hard to find just one man to work on this movie that has some general knowledge about computers? Come on I mean these are pretty basic stuff over here.
