Really Surprised!
Admirable film.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Wow. This is a big bad. Also how did the old blind woman know what the dance moves were on the screen when they were playing just dance...That's my whole review. I don't care.
First off, I am a huge fan of Shane Dawson. I had high hopes for this movie.. But this movie was bad. Am I going to elaborate? No. It is easy to say it was maybe the worst movie I have ever seen. Did Shane probably work hard on it and want it to do well? Yes. But it failed. Also the girl who played Tori(Cherami Leigh) is a terrible actor. Shane and Drew did fine and so did the others actors but this lady just stuck out. This movie had no goal or purpose really. It was actually vulgar without any reason. No comical purpose or emotional appeal. Smiley was a pretty good film. This is not. Sorry Shane but try again. Shane's YouTube skits are better than this. I am sad for Shane to even be associated with this. It's a shame.
So, as you can see, this is another movie where Shane Dawson is Starring as leading actor. Also director. Honestly, after watching "Smiley", I have to say that this one is not so bad as people make it look in the reviews. The movie has some scenes where people can actually laugh and have some fun, and some emotional scenes too that are actually quite convincing. Come on, if you were expecting a great movie, you clearly don't understand the basics of cinema. Shane is a video blogger, and with the resources he had he actually made a pretty nice job for his first movie. You cannot ask for a great movie, but it's not as bad as the rating here on IMDb makes it. So probably the most realistic rate I could give the movie would be 5 stars, but I'm giving 6, simply because this movie was actually better than other romantic/comedy movies I've seen, such as House Broken, Big Momma's House, Date Movie, Monster-in-Law, Jack and Jill, and I could go on.
Shane Dawson did a great job on this movie. I watched 'The Chair' and you can see how much dedication and soul he put into this movie. All the negativity he's been getting is completely unnecessary. He's been working for his reputation for 8 years now online. He gained all of his fans by himself and I can't see way people can't see that. The movie is Shane completely. If you've seen his videos you'd understand. He's made comedies like this his whole life. He's made a living on YouTube and he's not gonna give up on his dreams no matter how much criticism he gets. He's dealt with negativity his whole life and he's not gonna let a few bad reviews stop him. It's not the end of Shane just yet. Trust me.
