The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Pai energy is the life force from big boobs; fighting evil with its strength are five well-endowed young women known as the sexy rangers.Big Boob Squad: Sexy Rangers features a group of ample chested Japanese cuties in skimpy colour-coded outfits fighting alien monsters, and at just over an hour long, really shouldn't have been a chore to watch. But it was.The plot sees the wicked Muscle Kingdom attempting to invade Earth, with Queen Amorous and her minions hoping to harness Pai energy for their own nefarious needs; this leads to them trying to abduct one of the sexy rangers (I'd go for the blue ranger, played by gravure idol Yuzuki Aikawa).Badly choreographed and extremely dull fight scenes between the busty ladies and poorly constructed 'monsters' ensue (Camerang, a creature with a camera for a head, being the silliest), with time out for the sexy quintet to frolic in bikinis on the beach (easily the best bit).3/10.

Yes, it was meant to be "goofy", "wacky", "cheesy", etc. The "regular" audiences who watch these sub-cultural movies are not expecting good storylines, acting and awesome CGI or anything. If they do, it's just a bonus point. The original Japanese title already indicates its cheesiness: "Bakunyu Sentai" Pai Ranger" (The large breasted sentai breast rangers). "pai" means "breast." LOL The props (monsters and costumes) are more than decent for this kind of movies.Just enjoy its wackiness and girls' skin exposures.

60 minutes of well-endowed Japanese girls running around fighting evil is as short of a summary you can get with this. It was shot to video, the acting is cheesier then a fondue party, and the regular fights are badly choreographed, with people being hit and not reacting or reacting too soon. On the plus side, the giant fights are decent. But you wouldn't watch this 'movie' for that.

The full English title of this Japanese exploitation movie is BIG BOOB SQUAD: SEXY RANGERS, which tells you everything you need to know about it. It's a wacky sci-fi comedy, shot on video, in which voyeurism is the name of the came. If the sight of top-heavy young Japanese actresses running around in their bikinis is appealing then perhaps this is the film for you.Otherwise, this is a short and sweet production that feels surprisingly tame; it could almost be made for kids. Don't go in expecting nudity or anything of that ilk, because you won't find it here. The basis is the old POWER RANGERS type TV shows that originated in Japan, in which an evil gang of ninja-types, a sorceress, and humanoid robots do battle with a quintet of girls who draw their super powers from having large breasts. Yep, I'm not making this up.The film has a snappy pacing and some fun if cheesy action scenes. The acting is somewhat laboured at times but the main actresses are surprisingly decent in their parts and the director is clearly having a ball. It's not much of a real movie, but when the people making it are having this much fun then it's quite difficult to dislike a film like this too much.
