Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Didn't realize this had been made as a series, but it shows when watching it as a full film. It might have worked if they'd got some serious editing done first. It drags on and on for hours to the point that what was interesting becomes boring. Gave it 4 because other than the tedium it was well made.

I very very surprised at this movie which I just finish watching on Netflix. visually stunning,it adds a whole new dimension to the Peter Pan story in a way that can be enjoyed by adults and well as children, although it has a few dark moments to it as well as a suggestive, but no real nudity, love-making scene. It also has a good bit of mildly graphic violence. I'd rate it PG. Overall the acting is good. The special effects are also good, not quite up to par for something like, for instance, the Star Wars movies, but decently believable. I think Tinkerbelle and the crocodiles could have been a little more realistically computer animated. Although the crocs are exceptionally dinosaur-ion huge, I can just imagine they too were transported to that world just like the other characters except maybe from a prehistoric period. It's a prequel that sets the stage for the Peter Pan story. But offers much further possibilities for many future story lines since it takes place in a quasi Oz/Narnian world that offers literally a world of new places to be explored. It would make a GREAT TV series! The story line is fairly fast paced and often leaves you to wonder what will happen next. It was so engrossing I had to pause it when I had to briefly leave the room in far of missing something. I will recommend it to friends and probably even watch it again (something I rarely do in movies.)

I love to watch the story of Peter Pan. I've seen almost every-one created and I think this one is my favorite. I loved the twist to it,I never thought that Peter and Hook were friends, that made me want to watch it more. I wanted to see how Peter and Hook became enemies and now that I know I would love to see a third with Peter and the Lost boys defeating Hook and the many adventures that they have.I also found it interesting that the reason Peter could fly was because he had died and Tinker bell and the fairy's saved his life by giving him there power. This sy-fy miniseries was the best, with many interesting creatures that gave it a turn to the little animated ones i watched as a child. Forexample, a man eating spider, that was a nice touch and the crocodile having 6 legs. That was really cool!

The beginning was boring. Peter is a complete IDIOT. Read RottenToothDecay's thread "Terrible" he summed up almost everything, except a few things. Why did the faries trust Peter in the first place? Why did they think HE would be able to help them get rid of the pirates? Why didn't they give their powers to the indians? The indians respected them and helped them! So why would they give their powers to Peter and NOT TO THE INDIANS??!!! Oh, they gave him their powers because he has innocence. But he's a dumba--!! Even when he saw that Hook betrayed him and the other kids, he decided to trust him AGAIN!! After all that happened. At the end, Tinkerbell had an idea to let the pirates go back to London so that they could get the orb back and give it to the other faries. And maybe the faries would forgive Peter and take all the humans back to Earth. Excellent Idea! But does Peter think so? NO!! The dumba-- stops Hook from stabbing the orb and fights the pirates off and at the end, more people die and nothing gets resolved. In my opinion, Tinkerbell is the only person in this WHOLE series that was SANE. Even though she doesn't appear in the show that much. Nobody in the show was likable, except for Tinkerbell. Everybody else came off as stupid or useless.
