A class of five-year-old children gets lost in the forest after their schoolmistress faints from eating wild berries. All alone, they encounter a fourteen-year-old runaway, Tom the Truant, who lives in a centennial oak tree. Tom strikes a deal with them: he will bring them back to their parents, safe and sound, when they have forgotten everything they learned in school. Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Behind the scenes of TOM LE CANCRE / THE TRUANT distributed by REEL SUSPECTS turns to family drama for her youngest actress and her father photographer ( me).The words of the director who hired me to participate in this non certain enterprise ruined me . There are plenty lies around the realization ! Eg for concealing the undeclared work of 15 children , 6 who made the 11 weeks of filming the summer of 2011 , and not 2 or 3 hours per day , but very much . The association serves as a cover, Lanterna Magica, chaired by Manuel PRADAL , Éva MENZER Secretary was employed by the production company N°7 ( Eric Langlois ) as assistant production and Vincent LORCA as treasurer and the first part of summer, first assistant director .I am opposed to the use of the image of my daughter , Mila ( Zoe / Poussière) . This was despised, and "justice" has done the opposite what it is supposed to do. I saw withdrew exercise parental authority and our daily lives has been destroyed. I suffer if deeply ... Yes it is a family drama that fu*** movie induced !
