Trailer Synopsis Cast

Musician Gabriel and dimpled dry-cleaning proprietress Gabriela live like two strangers who no longer see each other. But in humorous contrast to their staid, passionless lives, characters in a constant state of sexual arousal surround them. Their libidinous teen son, whose hilarious voiceover commentary intermittently provides important narrative information, prides himself on being the high school stud and aspires to a career in porn. Gabriela's sexy employee switches boyfriends the way she changes clothes. And despite being married, Gabriel's colleague is working his way through the female members of their orchestra. Ultimately, the two Gabys find their virtual affairs reconnect them with their own desires, but in a way less movie-fantasy and more satisfyingly real-life. Camilla Reilly’s elegant life has come undone. Once a fast-track film executive living in a luxurious SoHo loft, she finds herself unemployed, broke, single and suddenly homeless. Just as her cool, steely façade gives way to quiet desperation, she meets Amory, a brash young writer whose deeply personal screenplay she rejected a year earlier. Though Camilla doesn’t remember him, “Amo” has never forgotten. Over of the course of the next 24 hours, the two share a sleepless journey through the teeming streets and shadowy scenes of late night Manhattan. From downtown demimonde to uptown refinement, they edge closer to discovering their secret connection, until, ultimately, their whirlwind love story takes a fateful turn.

During the last 15 minutes of the movie I was just laughing. Not because of the comedy (there is no such thing in this film), but because how stupid it could be. Imagine you are watching a soccer game and the players are so bad they are not even able to touch the ball – this kind of laugh I'm talking about. This movie was nothing but a 105' piece of unintentional humor.Poor idea, bad script, flat action, stupid dialogs, unnatural acting performances, very slow pace (inexcusable in this case, since there is nothing deep to understand or feel). I had a strong feeling of seeing again some 80s' Romanian movie, such as 'Liceenii', but unnecessary nudity or sex scenes dotted about. But the worst thing was the story itself. It's end, I mean. This end turned one bad movie into a huge non-sense. You lose your time expecting to see how the main characters solve their relationship problem, and you get them solving nothing. You endured such a long flat movie for no reward.Recommended only for people who are not searching for any deep message and/or interesting story, just wanting to watch two 50 years old persons getting in love and... nothing more. I guess the fans of 'The Young and the Restless' will really enjoy this movie.PS. I totally agree with Alex Iordache in his review.

I simply don't understand how this movie can have this rating. All the actors act amazingly BAD. We have very talented actors in Romania but the person in charge of casting went out of his/hers way to find the worst actors possible for this flick. In the first 5 minutes, as in all bad Romanian movies, we have our first nudity/sex scene. The movie contains senseless and gratuitous sex scenes through it's whole length. In the first scenes of the movie the director shows us the characters only from the knees to the shoulders. It looks like a kid that just finished college is trying new directorial techniques that he just learned but fails miserably. The movie wants to be a romantic comedy but there's nothing romantic nor comic in the whole movie. There's no fluidity in the movie. The actors look like they are rehearsing for the main event. The dialog between characters doesn't flow - there are pauses between lines like they're reading from a prompter. The actions of the characters have no sense. The main character is ugly - but all the ladies want him. His wife is a normal looking dry-cleaner - but a fancy Porsche owner and good looking guy that gets his clothes cleaned by her, fancies her.The 2 main characters rediscover themselves online, but when they find out they were speaking to each-other they get a divorce. This is my first review - I simply hate when bad movies get good rep because the crew that made the movie came and ranked it high.

"Hello! How are you?" deals with several main topics - growing up of a teenager, crisis of middle-aged people, boredom in marriage, unfulfilled dreams and desire. Although the topics suggest a serious drama, the film is actually a romantic comedy, the type that really deserved my thumbs up. During the second half, I was a little afraid that it would turn to clichés, such as we often see in Hollywood blockbusters, but luckily, this was not the case here. The story is not predictable, it seems realistic and it brings eastern European atmosphere in a positive and jolly way. The characters are vivid, the actors excellent in portraying them (both the leading and supporting roles), the direction is superb, with many unexpected scene details and surprising elements you discover gradually.I suppose that most comedy lovers would enjoy the film the same as I did, and as did the audience at Vukovar Film Festival 2011. There were many scenes that made everyone burst out laughing. It's one of the films that simply makes you feel good after seeing it.

"Buna! Ce faci?" is an honest and jolly film, slightly tendered with melancholy. It treats the theme of love reflected in the life of a long- married couple that has a rebellious teenager son.I also salute the poster of the film, with its vintage-design and its capacity to slightly introduce the viewer to a world of love, indifference and self- finding, regardless the age, ideas that reflect themselves in a well-handled and well written script. Thumbs up to the casting and settings, as well. All in all, I recommend this film and I wish we (the Romanians) produce more and more such romantic comedies.
