In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

Terribly boring.. Simply a collection of obvious facts from low level professionals. Yes we understand that one has to work hard to be a top sports-person. Plus some clips of top professionals from other interviews not filmed for this 'documentary'. Cringe-worthy reenactments (which did actually serve a purpose in making me laugh my head off at Alex Ferguson's double..). Fashion information from 'experts' and even an astrologist to tell us that all of Ronaldos actions are typical of his bloody star sign!!I've never written on here before but felt I had warn people after watching.Cannot fathom how they convinced Benedict Cumberbatch to narrate that.. Don't waste your time..

I'm not a huge soccer fan. Beyond David Beckham my knowledge about the sport is that you can't use your hands. I watched this documentary meanly because ever since the world cup started there has been endless chatter about Cristiano Ronaldo. Some of it was good (he is an excellent scorer) much of it was bad (He is a preening peacock) with all this applause and vitriol I decided to learn more and came across this documentary. No first off there are a few flaws. The narration is at times unfocused and there are these tangential asides that seem forced. These flaws aside the film is entertaining and informative and I walked away with a more well rounded view of the subject.

I really enjoyed this documentary. I liked learning about Cristiano's childhood and his family. There's also lots of interesting tidbits. For example, as a child he was more of a quiet individual and now he poses for ads in his underwear (his own brand). Nothing wrong with that, I loved all the images of Cristiano in this film. There's also an interesting piece in this documentary where there is an astrologer, who directly relates Cristiano's communication style with his astrological sign. He said since Cristiano is an Aquarius that is partly why he excels in his communication. I don't know if that's true, but very interesting and is working for Cristiano. Before watching this film, I wouldn't have called myself a Cristiano fan, but now I am.

Before seeing this documentary all I knew about Ronaldo is that he is attractive, dates models and likes to take his shirt off. However after watching this documentary I learned that there is a lot more to him than the flashy side we often see. First off Ronaldo grew up dirt poor in a small island off the coast of Portugal. He was so poor that he often missed meals. The only thing that got him through was a soccer ball, which he brought with him everywhere he went. Also I learned that he has a huge heart. He tries to give back to his hometown and is known to pay for surgeries of children suffering from cancer. All and all I learned that there is more Ronaldo than meets the eye.
