A cheerful Welsh girl grows a talking pine named PINEY to be her Christmas tree, but when he's accidentally removed from her grandfather's Christmas tree farm, the plucky family dog leads him on a journey across the countryside while the girl and her grandpa frantically search to get them home before Christmas. Excellent, Without a doubt!!
It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
