Simply A Masterpiece
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
VS: APOCALYPTIC THE TSUNAMI WAR is a true dud of an indie film, as the random word order of the title would suggest. It's supposedly set in a world devastated by an apocalyptic tsunami and set in some kind of MAD MAX style mercenary future world, but instead of being an action or event film this is merely a talky bore in which the characters all sit around in a bar endlessly and do nothing. It's cheap-looking, directed all in close up, and totally devoid of insight.
