All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Movie started with very illogical concept of invisibility, and than and just in the first murder of invisible man, he caught by the girl when she smells him. His miracle power doesn't helped him in only 1 scene. What nonsense there was. Invisible man can be visible in sun light and all the scenes were day light, no suspense. Role of the girl was very very over and her acting was just scrap. The most awful things were, there was no logic of bike scene. When he escaped from the jeep, he can easily hide in shadow, than he get a bike and started running. Here you discuss all the scenes and all were disgusting and very impractical.Ovelall imran was good but the story of movie, role of girl and her acting was awful.

I was not happy with the trailer of Mr.X but when I watched it I loved it.It is an unique kind of movie in which a man goes invisible because of effect of the chemical.Emraan Hashmi performance was good in this film.Amyra Dastur need somemore time.Music of the movie is of great significance. All songs are great and well sung."Tu jo Hain" and "Alif Se" are my favourite and beautifully sung by Ankit Tiwari.Dialogues were good but at some occasions they were silly.Story of movie is good but could have been better.Emraan Hashmi was 70% visible in the film. But overall it is an awesome movie. Please watch it and I am sure you will like it.My rating:10/10

I stopped watching Bollywood movies but after watching 'Badlapur', I thought they aren't that bad and so went to watch Mr. X because of its interesting plot which made me realize why I stopped watching Bollywood movies (again). The film starts abruptly giving a crash course for the character's life, whole character development in first 15 min with the song, after that the characters are dropped and the actors are allowed to do whatever the hell they want. The movie insults the intellect of the audience by offering bullshit logical explanation to how the protagonist gains his powers and what exactly is his power set. Somehow, a chemical that he ingests not only makes him invisible but also his clothes!! He becomes visible irrespective of the light source's direction. It is more than apparent that they have bent the logic to their convenience like giving the power of invisibility to a piece of clothing which had nothing to do with the chemical ingested or the chemical at the warehouse, just to keep the character clothed whenever he decides to make an appearance. The heroine is given a complicated and borderline artificial personality, also a not so subtle attempt to portray her as an antagonist which FAILS and instead comes out really foolish. The only thing that made this movie different was the new antagonist, he really had a presence but fellow actors sabotaged his talent and made him look like a fool too. Anyways the reason I rate this 4 instead of 2 is because of the antagonist.I know getting an original idea is tough but doesn't mean that the producers (and/or directors) get to pick out a movie out of the shelf and remake it into a monstrosity. To the directors: Please invest some time and find a set of eyes with a brain to tag along with you when you waste money making movies which kill your reputation and the viewer's time.Moral of the story for the viewers: Check (and believe) the IMDb score before you decide to go to a movie!

A new offering from Bhatt camp,Mr. X runs on the same formula as previous films of this camp.An invisible hero who is a vigilante,An actress who does everything to capture the hero because she loves her duty more than anything, some lip-locks,A few romantic tracks and a decrepit and weak storyline, all sums up to make a film which is below the moderate mark. The main problem lies in the writing which is terrible. The plot is stale and pathetic. The screenplay is very slow and exasperating. The sluggish narration is another big drawback. The movie is full of unnecessary and foolish scenes which are too aggravating and makes you to yawn. The basic premise is good but is presented in such a absurd and ridiculous manner that the film seems like a preposterous mishmash of Mr.India and various vigilante films. Some scenes of the movie seems bizarre and comical. The situations created in the movie are ludicrous and risible. The ending is open and a gate for sequel has been left open(Oh god......plz save us).Emraan hashmi is a good actor and this time again he plays her role nicely. He has played such type of roles many times and he fits nicely in his role.Although in some scenes he becomes dismayed and uneasy.Amyra is terribly bad and vexatious. He is extremely weak in acting.Arunodaya is decent.Vikram bhatt's direction is neither good nor bad.Dialogues of the movie are plain and sometimes afflicting too.The film needs a serious editing and can be trimmed down by almost 30 minutes.Music is repetitive and bad.Only title track is audible.Visuals are good.Mr. X is an attempt to create a Desi sci- fi thriller. The attempt is genuine, noble and praiseworthy but its outcome is not good enough. The main problem of the film is its paper- thin plot.If you are a fan of Emraan or Bhatt camp then you might find it good.Otherwise wait for its DVD to come out and save your hard earned bucks. 4.2 out of 10 is too much.
