A middle-aged woman (Robin) after the presumed death of her father, faces multiple versions of herself as memories of an unknown childhood reveal themselves. Trapped in her father’s apartment, a slow uncovering of events lost in her mind begin to spill out as we, the audience, lose track of what's real and what's not.
Reviews
Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
