Santiago is a Submission to the Almost Famous Film Festival 10 Day Film Challenge 2022. Troy Harper is a friend of Santiago Miller, a 16 year old boy who mysteriously goes missing. Troy has to learn to move past this event but ultimately gets pulled back into it by his self consciousness. The mystery is tearing him apart as he begins to question if this is all a dream, or a nightmare.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
