Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

Do Dooni Chaar is a movie that is excellent in all aspects.The story deals with the life of Santosh Duggal,played by Rishi Kapoor. He is forced to use a scooter and at some point this starts saddening him and his family.The movie is also about the dream of the family to own a car.. It is great to see Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the film.They have added charm to it with their presence.The story is completely natural, simple and refreshing. The movies like Do Dooni Chaar should be made, this is doubtlessly a real gem in Indian cinema, one of the best movies of the recent times!!This is the real life of any family in India,where each one tries his/her best to help in one way or the other.

The movie is for all those who love their family,lives in middle class family,struggles and compromises due to less family income.I enjoyed a lot,even at home,the movie is really awesome.The story deals with the life of Santosh Duggal,played by Rishi Kapoor. The movie basically depicts the hard times came for a school teacher as the teacher cannot keep their family happy with the salary they get.Life can be tough for a man who teaches in school and also giving tutions,make the future of many student but cant make their own children future due to their less salary.The teachers, and their issue with their self-worth in the face of growing inflation and demands of their family. The middle-class school teacher who works overtime to support his income and to send his children to good schools, ends up in a moral dilemma, when it comes to fulfilling the needs of his ever unsatisfied teenage children. The movie is a perfect watch for all generation and teaches everyone a lesson.Not much drama,emotions. Just a simple family and their interesting and funny life.The simplicity with which it tells the story is outstanding.The movie shows a situation where a teacher have to leave his honesty and go for an illegal wrong work but at the end he realizes that he can't afford to be illegal.This is a film that you can actually watch with your entire family

Do dooni char is among the very few movies that I see again and again.The story about how a middle class family in India earns and spends money and the struggle in their life is very beautifully shown in the film.I have not seen a movie like this in decades. It is great to see Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the film.Do dooni Chaar is a movie about Mr. Duggal,played by Rishi kapoor belongs to middle class family and is a maths teacher,run his family through his income but in this expensive world,can't able to complete all the desires of his family.Neetu Kapoor played his wife,Mrs. Duggal,who could be a librarian but her husband don't want her to work outside.I have not seen a movie like this in a long time.This is among the films that one should not miss at all
