I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Its an interesting movie if you were ever curious about the events that led to the birth of Islam. It focuses on the accuracy of these events that are accepted to be true. Its a 3 hour biographical epic which shows the birth of Mohammed, his teenage years, his constant travels to stay alive and some of the miracles he performed.

I have seen this movie recently.i must say it was the best movie I have ever seen.i wonder why the Arabs have baned it.it has not shown the face of Mohammad (pbuh).l recommend all the Muslims to see it first and then judge it.i have seen people in the cinema that shed tears. I heard somebody said the movie was not good enough to be compared with the Hollywood ones.i should say that this movie is not for the sale.it has been made to introduce our prophet and a good face if him. I hope that Sonny Moslems stop this and try to be united with the shies. This is the movie that must be seen at least once.sorry for my bad English. Thank you

Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is a good hearted prophet. This trait is shown only at this movie, In the movie (the message 1979) we see Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) only in wars but in this movie we can see the true facts about Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Majidi is one of the best director's in the world and this movie is his best one. And I can really say that we can compare this movie with biggest movies in Hollywood, it has a great soundtrack and Cinematography and the most important is that the great story of this movie based on real events there is nothing that director add from himself, all events are pure history even some sentences.

This film is a 40 Million Dollar worth of humble and decent Iranian effort and a reply of truth in the face of those who have been imposing publicly their sinister crimes against humanity by every mean at their disposal under the pre-context of Hypocritical Western Standards of Freedom of Speech in order to desecrate the Divine pearls, infallible personalities and Prophets of Almighty Lord such as Jesus son of Marry and Muhammad (PBUH) son of Abdullah (Servant of Allah), the divine light in the image of man loved by 1.4 Billion living Muslims and other humble human beings of the world. Bravo!!! What an answer to hate and trickery!!!!
