Instant Favorite.
This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Mohanlal is back with once again a blunder. The script is so lame that you realize that there is NO "Casanova" factor in this movie. Lest any relationships, emotions or likewise. This one hides under the masquerade of a thriller but proves to be too feeble. The characters are half-baked and not at all legit.Waste of time, waste of money and waste of brilliant actors who forl the cast of this biggest blunder of 2011.Avoid.Language: Yes Sex: No Nudity: Somewhat Mouth-Kiss: No Violence: Somewhat
No. There is minimum probability that I will sit and watch it a second time. I shall list the reasons.1. I loved the trailers. They raised the bars of my expectation to an international level with stylish shots, top quality frames, brilliant music, lovable moves of my favourite star - Mohanlal, beautiful leading ladies, and thrilling action! 2. Unfortunately, Casanovva has only those 2.5 minutes as shown in he trailer, to boast about! 3. The shots are stylish. But style without substance. Throughout the movie you will have this question in your mind; "why?" 4. Frames are beautiful but failed to connect! Where's the screen play? Bobby - Sanjay failed me! :-( 5. Brilliant music, but where's the best song of the album; Saghiye? 6. Mohanlal... I felt real sorry when you tried your best to keep up with the younger kids in those fight scenes. :-( 7. The ladies... They look pretty in all scenes and there ends the story! 8. Thrilling action... What's the point? So, when I left the theatre, I was frustrated. Buying DVD should've been much wiser than spending 2000 bucks. ( Yeah, I took my whole family to the theatre)
Casanovva:A stylish Flick by Roshan Andrrews. The most anticipated movie ever happened in Malayalam industry was directed by Roshan Andrrews written by Bobby&Sanjay. The movie deals about a man named Casanovva who is the owner of 'Casanovva eternal spring'which deals the international marketing of flowers.Casanovva is a man who was loved by girls&who loved girls.the main content of the film is that Casanovva's tries to catch 4 criminals. The movie is visual treatment with perfectly shot scenes& sensational&electrifying action sequence done by Alan Ameen.Jim Ganesh has done a spectacular job by creating some great visuals that will entertain you.though the storyline is not so bold the movie does not match up with it's expectations. But Casanovva sensational effort so that the crew of the film must be appreciated.in my view the casting was brilliant.i think Mohanlal is the only man who can do this character perfectly as this much.so he deserves applause. There are some who Criticises this film as this film 'harases lady community'must at least think about the movie &ask to his mind whether he could make a film like this. the well composed music&BGM shines the film more.the movie is one time worth watch and can entertain you in all sense.though it does not live up to expectations. but there is only one question that remains that does Roshan give importance to style than story line. verdict:stylish entertainer one time watch.
movie delivers what it promises...a feel good romantic action thriller... mohanlal performs with ease he looks very cool.. n shreya sharan she was dam beautiful in the movie.. i guess she looks best in it.... action scenes are also taken well ... The biggest highlight of the movie is the scale in which it is made, with the plush cars, number of choppers , great locales, chartered planes and beautiful ladies all contributing to the finest looks ever in Mollywood, that may match the league to visual stunner's of Bollywood. Yes, this is an invitation from Mollywood that contest the big league of commercial players of India. The technical sides are top notch with Jim Ganesh contributing some finest visuals to the journey. Slick editing by Mahesh Narayanan also elevates the movie. But this cannot be told about the story lines, which indeed appear good in the initial reels. The first half pretty matches the expectations from the biggie, but in the later half while dealing with the lead man's original love with a salsa dancer named Sameera (Shriya Saran) who transforms him to a romantic than a womanizer, 'Casanovva' looks sulky and strained a bit. And since it is the first movie to appear in Mollywood with a totally distant thread and shot entirely in foreign locales, the movie does not pay heed to traditional meticulous demand of on lookers for logic, in each and every scene. Some of the duologue's penned by Sanjay-Bobby looks inviting enough as it matches the off screen image that the lead star propagates all through. The songs by three music directors just fit the bill, though the 'Alphonse track' Hey manohara theerame...' is a foot tapping material. The BG scores and theme score by Gopi sundar are also impressive SUPERHIT WRITTEN ALL OVER
