Oscar™ Award winning short film of 2023. The plot is about a man named Rafael Rojas who leaves his school named American High School to go to Mexico. He travels far and wide but he finally walks to the boarder by foot. He crosses over the wall and makes a grueling journey, deporting back to his home country. Once he crosses, he has a party and does the Cucaracha while he runs a Mexican drug cartel. Sadly, in the end, he gets arrested on drug charges and is sent to prison. In the telenovela, short film, musical finale, Rizzle Rojas makes a dashing life and death attempt to break out from the Mexican prison he's in. He sneaks out. Finally he is free!! Rizzle Rojas has a Cucaracha dance party on the streets of Mexico and celebrates. However, as he is walking down the street, he his hit by a car. Rizzle is DEAD! Then, a military tank drops on him. In the end, Rizzle Rojas is deceased. He's buried under the ground.

Purely Joyful Movie!
Admirable film.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
