I Love The Royal Rumble Of 2006. I Loved It So Much Because Royal Rumble Is My Fav Match Ever And Plus Rey Mysterio Won It And Hes One Of My Fav With Jeff Hardy. I Other Matches Were OK. John Cena Match Was Good Because He Won And I Hate Edge!!! And The JBl Match Was Not Good They Did Not Fight At All Of What I Can Remember. And Kurt Angle Match Was Good Because He Won I Hate Matt Henry!! Mickey James Match Was Stupid Because Ashley Lost!!! And That Was It That I Can Remember. And That Is Why I Liked The Royal Rumble Of Year 2006.I Hope In The Next Royal Rumble Rey Mysterio Wins Again Or Jeff Hardy Wins!!!

Royal Rumble 2006 was a horrible show. 2 good matches, 1 decent and the rest were horrible which I believe was 3.Cruiserweight Open: This was a great way to open the show, a lot of high flying spots made it better. **1/4 Boogeyman vs JBL: Why is this on the card again. Just horrible. Luckily, kept short. DUD Mickie James vs Ashley with Trish Stratus as Referee: Another horrible match. I wasn't in to it at all and the crowd wasn't either. Not hard to tell why though. DUD Royal Rumble Match: Why is this in the middle again? Please explain. This was a decent match, nothing spectacular. This may have been the worst Royal Rumble Match ever though. **1/4 John Cena vs Edge: This was another decent match. This was the best match on the card though, but not too impressive. 10 minutes long wasn't so long though. Decent like I said. **1/4 Mark Henry vs Kurt Angle: Why is this the main event. This must have been the worse Main Event ever. * Royal Rumble 2006 is a D.

1) 6-Man Invitational for the Cruiserweight title. Kid Kash vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble vs. Paul London vs. Nunzio vs. Gregory Helms. A great choice for an opener. Fast-paced match with lots of high spots. ***2) Mickie James vs. Ashley, with Trish as the special guest ref. A mediocre match. You get the feeling that Mickie would like to get more technical (nice single-leg boston crabs), but the match is pulled towards a catfight, probably to cover up the inexperience of Ashley. Don't get me wrong, though, Ashley is undeniably learning. ** 3) JBL vs. The Boogeyman. What can I say about this? Awful, but at least short. * 4) The Royal Rumble Match. The middle part is kind of exhausting, but the beginning and the end, when the action can be followed more clearly, are very entertaining. The constant dedications to the memory of the late Eddie Guerrero are a matter of taste, though. Personally I find them distasteful. *** 5) Edge vs. John Cena (WWE title). An average match that offers something we haven't seen before: Cena getting out-wrestled most of the way, but coming out on top at the end! Who would have thought? ** 6) Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry (WH title). Before the match, Angle cuts a HILARIOUS promo ("Oh, and by the way....Mark Henry, YOU SUCK!"). The match itself tells an interesting story: Kurt realizes that he can't beat the World's Fattest - em, I mean Strongest - Man with sheer technique, so he has to resort to cheating tactics (chair shots, etc.). **1/2 After the match, the Undertaker appears and, with the help of some ridiculous pyrotechnics, makes the ring collapse.

This Rumble was far lower than last years. Three of the matches were just awful and the whole 'Rey Mysterio winning' seemed just to be built out of Eddie Guerrero passing away and when WWE uses Eddie's name to make money out of it they are sick. Results from the PPV:Gregory Helms defeated Funaki to win the Cruiserweight Championship which also consisted of Kid Kash, Paul London, Nunzio and Jamie Noble in a very good match. The Boogeyman defeated John 'Bradshaw' Layfield in a terrible match (poor John). Rey Mysterio won the Royal Rumble last eliminating Randy Orton. John Cena defeated Edge to win the WWE Championship (Why even bother to have made Edge champion for 2 weeks?). Mickie James defeated Ashley in a p*ss poor match. Kurt Angle defeated Mark Henry to retain the Heavyweight Championship in a poor match.Obviously The Rumble and The Cruiserweight match were the best matches on the card, but overall could have been MUCH BETTER!Overall Grade - C+
