A modern interpretation of one of the short stories "Canterbury Tales" by the medieval English poet Geoffrey Chaucer. The poetic novella "The Story of the seller of indulgences" is shifted to the current pandemic. The film is about the fact that conspiracy theory sometimes diverges from practice. At the same time, not only life, but also death makes its own adjustments to people's plans – and not always in the way you thought.

How sad is this?
best movie i've ever seen.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
