Must See Movie...

everything you have heard about this movie is true.

Beautiful, moving film.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

This is bottom of the barrel film-making but, if nothing else at least they tried to be different. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The music is bad, the production design in shocking (most of the film looks like it was shot either against a green-screen or at someone's house) and unforgivably, the mix of the film is bad. When you're making a musical your sound has to be good guys.This is a dreary, lackluster, badly performed, hammily acted mess, which is a shame considering I love musicals. In fairness though i did only manage to sit through about half of this film, I resembled a scene from Scanners, it was just before the moment my head was about to explode that I turned the film off.As the other reviewer said, only a masochist would endure an entire viewing.

What a clever way to incorporate science fiction, music and humor into a film. Mysterious forces complicate the everyday problems of high school students. The movie is reminiscent of a post World War II 1950's American film. The music also takes you back to that time. It was excellent, unforgettable and the voices were professional. I am still singing the songs.The actors were both humorous and effective. The movie is fast-paced with fun special effects, like the car that rides through the night sky. Watch closely for the clues that will lead you to the surprise ending. So get out the popcorn, sit back and be prepared to laugh, be a little frightened, enjoy some music and have a very unique experience.

I guess the spaceship on the cover misled me a bit.I expected a bit more from the "aliens." There wasn't much to like about this movie if anything.The mad scientist was awful to listen to.The detention teacher's acting was forced.Overall, just about all of the acting was forced.Nothing interesting ever happened.The worst thing was the awful sound effects added to the voices.These made the songs pretty much unintelligible.Otherwise, I would have probably rated this a "2." From what I could hear, the actors(?) seemed to have pretty good singing voices.

All I can say good about this movie is, the girls are cute.The acting was horrible. The script is worse. The special effects could have been done better in the 1960's. As a musical, I expected a lot more singing but it was not here. As for the Sci-Fi, it made Troll 2 look intelligent. At least Troll 2 tried. The movie has killer alien plants that are only reverent at the end of the movie and very disappointing.I sat watching, waiting for something to happen to get me interested but nothing. I would never recommend this move to anyone. I would rather shoot myself in the head than see this film again.
