Everyday people feeling out of place in their social ring!I must confess I adore Wyatt Cenac and this review may be a bit one sided. "Fits and Starts" is about two writers who come from average backgrounds and then suddenly find themselves thrust into the limelight of the accomplished literature community. Their reactions to situations they find themselves bound-up into is hilarious and thought provoking.!A well written, acted, and scripted film! Enjoy !

Pleasantly surprised and well written. The pace was good and the characters were believable and at times funny. I love a blockbuster and action movie but this movie was refreshing. Touched a little bit on racial inequalities and social quirkiness without being threatening and the relationship between the husband and wife was believable and funny. Sunday afternoon movie with a bottle of wine methinks. Enjoyable.

A well-written film with unexpected twists and turns in all the right places. Completely caught us off-guard. An artistic rendezvous in New York with real world people in I'm facing awkward relationship challenges.
