Just perfect...
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
This is probably one of the worst war films I have ever had the misfortune to watch. Its my fault really; I took a chance buying the DVD before reading any reviews. Nowhere on the case did it state that it was a French film, (nothing wrong with that!) or it had English subtitles, (nothing wrong with that either)! The problem is that this apology for a warfilm substitutes American 82nd Airborne troops with second rate French actors, and expects the viewer to make the mental leap necessary for this film to be credible. Unfortunately I found this prospect impossible. Add a poor storyline and, as I said, second rate acting and all of the weapons sounding the same; what you end up with is a total waste of time. AVOID THIS FILM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
