Perfect cast and a good story
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
One word of advice: watch the movie until the end. When the movie started I felt disgusted by the crummy costumes and the hopeless storyline. A typical B-movie. Boy, was I wrong. It may still be a B-movie, but one of the best. There is a good reason why the story is as it is, and why the costumes look the way they look. I can not tell you more, as it would spoil the fun of watching right through the end. Please believe me, and be warned that the first 30 minutes are not promising at all. It is worth it!
