Through electronic music and a noisy track, the characters walking the streets perform what they feel while living in this society trying to understand it. Abjetas 288 deals with territorialities, identities and meritocracy, all with an ironic tone and using allegorical elements that dialogue with the popular history of Aracaju.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

I have watch the trailer and half of the movie itself but you know what this movie sucks! I don't get it why does this "Princess" be the victim of Domestic Abuse from a Prince Charming that isn't really a Prince Charming but a total abuser who wants this girl to be nice to him or what. Honestly this story line makes it very uncomfortable to watch yet unbearable to see due to the yelling, screaming and too much crying. It's absolutely negative, shallow, uneven and finally sick to see or watch it's not a must watch but a total don't watch it anymore for the rest of your life! See I mean look at that poor girl she deserves a better role and the character herself needs a better role model for audiences to look up to but no she cries, weeps and portrays victimization of women around the world. The other characters from the movie are honestly unimportant to the movie such as the friend and co-worker I mean they need to be in as extras or better yet it needs more important characters that can support the girl characters to defend the abuser and make the character pay for his "Sins" In conclusion I find this movie unacceptable to Female Audiences that may lead to so much dependence on men, abuse from men and finally mutual discords from couples as we need a better story line that could make the movie successful or the novel be re-written by someone else

Not worth paying money to go to the cinema for. The cliché moves, the predictable lines, all went flat. The only reason I'm not rating this a zero is because of Angel Aquino playing the mom, her acting is so believable, the only upside to this blah movie. For the main characters, in their fairness, the talent there, lost in a really bad script and horrible directing. This movie is having an identity crisis if it is a sweet teen romantic movie or a suspense film. Don't even get me started on the most awkward sex scene in film history. And was that even a climax? The movie was just a plateau of boring. Midway through the movie, my companions and I wanted to walk out and see another movie. This film is just too painful to endure, no wonder the low attendance in cinemas. I would never recommend this movie to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.
