Purely Joyful Movie!
hyped garbage
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
This film is really well-done, in the sense that it's constantly changing the viewers' attention and make them wonder what it is all about. At first you might think that it is a cheesy romance, but suddenly it turns into a critic of the state and finally you realize it's just an incredible piece of art. Like one great novel you have already read.Sahe contains multiple films within, insofar as there are a lot of narratives surrounding the life of the main character (Garib). But it is also a story of the young nation of Azerbaijan and photography in this country and the former USSR.Even if the narration is really slow at some points, watch it until the end, you won't regret it. In fact you will be amazed.
