Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Better Late Then Never
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
I gotta say Roy and Jeffrey did very well on creating the story, not the typical filipino thriller formula. I like the plot and the easy start entering the film then ending it with the unexpected twist. I always like movies with the villain gets to live at the end of the film. Well, I would say villain killing another villain is still villain right? or is it double negative equals positive. But yeah, as much as I like the story, the acting of Rhian was just normal. It was not perfect but could have been polish more. She looks hot thou in a lot of scene, like a lot... Piolo's acting, is a little bit safe. He does not want the viewer to know any hint about how this movie would end. Even after the big reveal he stayed to the same acting. You would never know, I guess it was effective. "Silong" a tagalog word for lending shelter, this is a film about two twisted people, destined to face the inevitable reveal of their lives. To those who like suspense and like to guess how the movie ends kind of movie goers this is a must try movie. To Philippine cinema this is a fresh mind film, hope to see more of this kind of films in the future. Congrats to Jeffrey and Roy.
