Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

Eric Clapton is one of my favorite musicians, so anything he puts out I'm going to want to buy. The concert here must have been great to be at, and I completely enjoy the music on this DVD. However, there's very little point to watching it. It's just a video of him with his band, and the quality of the production seems to me to be sub par. So, I stick the DVD in the player and let it play while I do other things. For that purpose, I really enjoy this DVD.
