Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The first thing I noticed about Tim Ritter's Creep is all the trippy colors, that were seemingly only there to mask the unfortunate looks of that stripper, Kascha played by Kathy Willets. Kascha has a brother named Angus, played to perfection by the legendary, Joel D. Wynkoop. Angus is a serial killer who was in jail for armed robbery, and he recently escaped. Angus hooks up with his sister, together they kill her abusive husband. Meanwhile, a pair of Father and daughter cops are on their trail, but Angus and Kascha don't seem too concerned, they just want to go play in there mothers grave site, both were abused by their sadistic/drug-addicted parents, so I guess that would kind of make sense. At this point, all I can say is, things won't end up like anything resembling what you might think. And just nevermind the fact that Creep was shot on video, as this movie totally rises above. Creep is incredibly fast-paced, and unpredictable, with a decent script tolerable acting (as if it matters). Let's just say, Creep really keeps you on your toes. As politically incorrect as it wants to be, Creep includes such hi jinx as cocaine in the baby food, the humiliation and murder of a fat man, more than enough references to incest to go around, and even our pal, Asbestos Felt drops in for a visit, it's Floridian fun for the whole family, courtesy of Twisted Illusions. Wynkoop does a great job at adding the perfect combination of sleazy and psychotic to the character of Angus, although, Ritter could have done better at casting Kascha. For a much better Tim Ritter Movie, check out Killing Spree, but if you're looking for something more mean-spirited, then Creep it is. I'm sure I would like this a lot more if it weren't shot on video and would probably rate it higher. Anyone who shoots their films on video knows they have to try even harder to impress the viewer (Darkness, Shatter-Dead) I, for one, am fairly impressed. This is modern Exploitation, straight out of the 60's Drive-in. Long live Florida Gore. 7/10

Tim Ritter's CREEP is a movie for people who love low budget sleaze films! This is the kind of movie that was destined to be a drive in classic had it not came along long after the drive in's had their day.The movie is basically about a psycho brother and sister and a Dirty Harry/Death Wish inspired female cop (who also happens to be really hot!). CREEP is kind of like a Natural Born Killers style movie at times with lots of weird angle and cutting. I won't go into any real details because it would spoil the fun of this movie. Just take my word for it that there are lots of twists and turns in this one and everything is in BAD TASTE!! This is not for the PC crowd.Joel Wynkoop (the Ed Wood of acting and my favorite b-movie actor) is having a ball in this film! He gets with a lot of pretty ladies who don't mind taking their clothes off! This movie gets a A+ on the nudity and violence alone! I'd give it an A+ on the storyline as well as it's very well crafted and full of weird characters and situations. There is one problem with CREEP and it's a big one!!!!!! The DVD of CREEP is cut to hell!! I saw the original version and I know there was a lot of stuff I remember missing from the DVD release. Why a sleaze cla-SICK like CREEP would be cut down for it's DVD release is a mystery to me. The best thing to do is to try to find a copy of the old VHS. It's worth the search!

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*I bought this one from a video store in Jupiter, Florida. The store was having an inventory reduction sale. I bought "Creep" along with a handful of other movies for about thirty bucks. The guy behind the counter looked at "Creep" and then looked at me and said, "You know the story behind this movie?" No, I said, what's the scoop? "You see the lady on the cover with the huge knockers? She was busted for prostitution back in the 90's. It was a famous case in Florida. Somehow [director] Tim Ritter got her to be in his movie. Yeah, Ritter lives around here. He's from Jupiter." Wow, I said, I didn't know that this was a locally made movie. I looked at the video box cover again and saw a bleached blonde with huge knockers getting strangled from behind by some drooling lunatic. As if that image wasn't enough to get me excited, now I had the full back story on this B-flick to get my heart pumping. I was ready for some "Creep".So my brother pops over the other day and we decide to give "Creep" a whirl. "Creep" is the story of Angus the nutbag and his desire to kill people. Angus goes to visit his sister who happens to be a stripper. She was the woman on the cover, (Kathy Willets), that the guy in the video store was talking about. She looked good to me although my brother was less impressed. "Oh God, she's hideous! Don't fall for the fake breasts! Any of the other women in the movie were better looking!"So Angus kills people while Willets and her large, fantastic, fake breasts bounce in your face. Some other women get naked as well. "Creep" is truly for the die hard B-sleaze lover. Any normal moviegoer would have a heart attack watching it. It was shot on video and looks cheap and tacky. I would give it a 4/10 only because of plentiful fake breasts and blood. If you're a B-fiend, you should check it out.

All hail to the Prince of low-budget video, the Duke of twisted storytelling and the King of gore-on-a-budget! Tim Ritter's outrageous horror-fest CREEP delivers! Kathy Willets and Joel D. Wynkoop play savage killers in this sexually twisted and graphically shocking story. Patricia Paul plays a convincing role as the stressed-out cop drawn into this sick affair. CREEP is filled with some of the most innovative twists and shocking turns of events. The story flows smoothly with each passing scene, until the climactic and STUNNING finale. Skillfully written and masterfully shot, Tim Ritter continues to prove that he is one of the better young directors in the no-budget industry. CREEP is sure to be considered one of the all-time favorites at this level! ***
